Kukukha is a pleasant friendly cafe in the historical center of Vitebsk with good food and desserts.
Among the desserts was my favorite since childhood "Kiev cake". However, it must be admitted that he rather disappointed. The fact is that in the original recipe, 80 percent of the air cakes account for, and here only half, and the rest for cream is also not bad, but this is not a "Kiev cake". There are no questions about other dishes and drinks.
In the toilet, we were pleased with an audiobook and an innovative seat😅 (seriously, I have never seen such an invention before)

The atmosphere is normal, the staff is responsive, the toilet is clean and there is everything you need. But the kitchen... especially considering how much we paid for it. The price does not correspond to the quality strikingly. The only thing you can take here is a meringue roll. This is not a taste - it's a bad cook at the level of an ordinary dining room.

Drinks were brought quickly, food too, but there was a problem, because of which we sat in the cafe for 40 minutes, we thought that there were a lot of people and the wait for food would be long, but it was Monday and 3 tables were occupied, including ours. As a result, when we ran out of drinks and food and we were waiting for the dish of another person who was sitting hungry all the time, the waitress saw it (this is the main question), coming to find out when the dish would be ready, she replied that she had not recorded it. All. The curtain is down. That is, seeing that people had eaten, she didn't offer the bill (if she thought we hadn't ordered anything else). And we just sat there for 40 minutes. The service cannot even be evaluated, hire people with good memory and hearing, the dishes are normal, but not for their price tag, they did not offer anything as a gift for waiting for an unwritten dish in 40 minutes. I don't set foot in such a place anymore and I don't advise anyone, everyone is here for you …

An unpleasant start to the day))) We fell for the good reviews and came to have breakfast. The service is on the verge of rudeness. The choice of breakfast dishes is very limited. According to the kitchen itself, 4 out of 5 (but keep in mind that we only ate dishes from the breakfast section. There was no desire to return and test the main menu).
The institution has something to work on.It was the first and last time.

Great place, very cozy and atmospheric, conveniently located, easy to find. If there is a summer terrace. You can charge your mobile device or other electronic equipment. Friendly waiters. We were with friends in Vitebsk for a couple of days and went to this cafe. A nice place with an interesting interior. I really liked serving coffee in a large mug on a wooden tray. I even wanted to buy myself such a set, but, unfortunately, the dishes in the cafe are not for sale. And it would be nice to have such a memory of the city. It's great that there is such an atmospheric institution in the old town of Vitebsk. I also liked the work of the waiter, the girl was very nimble and pleasant. Therefore, the words came to mind: "Laziness will lead to poverty, but diligence will make you rich" (Proverbs of Solomon)
I hope that after a while the institution will not lose its quality.

KOO-KOO-HA! Entering here you plunge into a special atmosphere! Old brickwork, comfortable sofas and a peculiar serving of dishes emphasize the individuality of this place! Be sure to try the cheesecakes!! They are served on the morning menu until 12.30! They are insanely magical with a crispy crust, laid out on a platter with sweet sour cream and homemade jam!!
