A great palace! We enjoyed going to a hockey game. Of course, it is small compared to Minsk, there are no footcourts and other entertainment, but it is optimal for the city of Gomel. Free skating is not enough in terms of time and quantity per day, the rental equipment is quite packed.

For the first time in 20 years, I visited mass skating, but the first thing that confused me was the lack of online ticket sales. And it's lucky for me that I literally live in the next house, otherwise I don't want to go so far at all. Next, if you rent skates, you need to leave your passport as a deposit... I was very surprised, but there was nothing to do, I left it. The ice was so-so, in places with water, it was not cleaned before skating. I do not know any other ice for skiing, so I skated as it turned out, but people with experience said that the ice was bad. Given the lack of online payment for the ticket and the passport left as collateral (birth certificate, baptism, I swear by my mother are not suitable), the assessment is quite low.

The Ice Palace is large, always spacious).There is often mass skating and hockey.There are many sections and table tennis.You can just go in and get a coffee with a yummy on the ground floor or go up to 2 and go to the cafe "Ice".Everything is always fresh and delicious!
At the entrance, when you go to hockey, they carefully inspect and this is good!Only here it is impossible to bring more than 1-1.5 liters of water to hockey for 1 person ... this is certainly not very good…
They often hold some events on the street for holidays or inside during the break of a hockey match!

The capacity of the stands was 2,760 spectators now there are several and according to the words is more than 3,000 seats. The interior is quite spacious, beautiful, the staff is highly qualified. There are two ice arenas, one of them for training, the second for training and competitions. We have installed new scoreboards with information about the course of the match, there is plenty of space on the scoreboard, but there is no information about the authors of the goals, which is not very informative. In the pauses between periods, it is frankly boring, it is necessary to resume competitions on hockey topics that unite fans of all ages with the distribution of prizes from the club.

Gomel definitely lacks another ice one. This one is quite large, it has 2 arenas, but the condition of the ice rink, both external and internal, requires a lot of work. One of the advantages is the presence of several cafes, small sports kiosks. Cons: terrible toilets, many locker rooms are also NOT VERY GOOD.
Mass skating is held in the ice rink itself. The ride time is 45 minutes. You can rent skates. Both figure skating and hockey.
