We have been coming to the LERNEST Hotel for the 5th year. Very cozy and convenient location from the sea and to the sights. Everything is within walking distance.
The hotel has a dining room with a good selection of menus.
A great store with a good selection of local wines.
The rooms are very cozy. Daily cleaning, linen change every 3 days. Each room has a kettle, cups, refrigerator, hairdryer, TV, air conditioning. The staff is very friendly.
We are leaving with the desire to return next year only to our favorite LERNEST Hotel

We had a rest from September 14 to 17, 2024, first of all, about the advantages. The location is super. Everything is within walking distance - shops, stalls, the sea, the park, the sights of the city. The hotel itself is not bad. Maid Nadia speaks Russian poorly, but understands. Cleaning was carried out daily. There were three of us on vacation, as indicated in the voucher, through a travel agency. The room has a double bed and a sofa, which turned out to be broken. And in 4 days we have not managed to have it repaired. It was only necessary to pull the spring off there. We women didn't have enough strength. Leaving, saying goodbye, they just turned away from us. And this is in the land of the Soul, where hospitality is welcomed!? And this broken sofa ruined our whole vacation, we are not young, pensioners. We dreamed of comfort. The towels were full of holes. There was a smell of sewage in the room, I had to keep the ventilation in the bathroom on. We conclude that we will not return to this hotel anymore!!! And I don't advise others. The attitude of the Abkhazians towards the Russians is simply disgusting, they all say that they are tired of us.

We rested from August 6 to 12, 2024. The location of the hotel is great! Shops , shopping malls , cafes are all nearby . The sea is 5 minutes away through a beautiful park.All the sights are nearby. The room is spacious, has everything you need from appliances (kettle , refrigerator, hair dryer, TV, air conditioning) cleaned every day. On the ground floor there is a dining room where it is very tasty! And a liquor store 👍
Many thanks to the hostess and the staff, they are responsive and hospitable.
We will definitely come again and recommend it to everyone!

Excellent location, cleanliness in the corridor, daily room cleaning, friendly staff, weak Wi-Fi, rooms without frills, but everything you need is there and working, morning tea on the balcony is a special pleasure. We had a rest in August at this hotel, we chose it because of the location, it is very convenient.Everything is within walking distance.Everything is clean, regular cleaning and change of towels and bed linen, the service is quite a bit lame, but not critical))))BUT the dining room in this building on the ground floor is terrible, not tasty, greasy and bland and still too expensive for the dining room.....

The first time we stayed at the hotel was in May 2021, the second time was in June 2024. We like it! Of course, there is no repair, the furniture is far from new, Wi-Fi does not always work well and the TV may not work, but the mattresses on the bed are comfortable, this is very important for us. The excellent location of the hotel, the very friendly attitude of the hostess Gunda to her guests is also worth a lot.
To summarize: if the beauty of the city and the attentive attitude of the staff are more important to you than new furniture and repairs, then feel free to come to Lernest. And you can eat anywhere if you don't like the cafe on the ground floor.

We had a rest from June 22 to 28, 24. A wonderful cozy hotel . The room faced the mountain. The view from the balcony is amazing. Air conditioning, kettle, refrigerator, hair dryer. Everything is in working order. They cleaned up every day. Towels were changed. In the bathroom there is a tidy room with a toilet. by means of. Our room had a large balcony where you can comfortably sit in the morning with a cup of coffee or not coffee in the evening. The window does not let in sounds from the street if you want to relax in the evening. I can't hear the neighbors. One of the advantages is that all the sights are within walking distance. On the ground floor there is a dining room where you can eat delicious food and a wine shop. There are shopping malls nearby. A pleasant compliment from the hostess upon arrival and departure, in the form of a bottle of champagne and a plate of fruit, respectively. We liked it. I definitely recommend it.

The location is great. The sea is just around the corner. The room is spacious, there is an electric kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer, air conditioning. There is a park across the street where you can walk or just sit in the shade on a bench. All attractions are within walking distance. There are shopping malls next to the hotel. We really liked it.

I was vacationing with my wife and child . We went to the canteen in this building. They ate and poisoned themselves. It seems like the food is normal but greasy. we had lunch, the child ate pasta and borscht. I also ate borscht and a pot of potatoes with meat. We didn't have dinner, we didn't have an appetite. I have a heaviness in my stomach and discomfort. The child vomited pasta that was not even digested!
During the 5 days of rest in new Athos, the child was ill 2 times.
My advice is not to go to eateries with the name canteens. They cook fatty food and xs like.
Be prepared with medicines.
Be vigilant and careful with your choice

I have been in Lernest since 04/05/2023. Aslan Greeted Me Warmly!)) Any room to choose from! The rooms are spacious, clean, and have a balcony with a nice view! The room has a kettle, refrigerator, air conditioning, and a good heater! A clean shower room . Disposable gels and shampoo. Very calm and Sincere. Nearby are all Good places and a park with swans and a waterfall, a cave, a Monastery! If you need anything on any issue, please contact the administration. Aslan will tell you and explain everything! I Am Very Satisfied and Recommend It to Everyone!!!)))

The advantages of the hotel are the location, everything is within walking distance, the maid is friendly, cleaning every day, you can wash things, there is a ironing board on the floor, so the cons, let's go, the furniture is damaged, mold in places, the toilet constantly broke, check the kettle on arrival for rust, the dining room that is downstairs is straight tin, prices as in cafes, soups with Galina blanca and allegedly compote from jupi powder, ok, were poisoned three times, seemingly simple pies with potatoes or baklava, beware. The temperature was high without getting off the push. Hot water intermittently, it may be enough to wash for one. The wine shop downstairs is an overprice, a little further on there is everything the same, cheaper.

Advantages:
Location, air conditioning, kettle, refrigerator. the spacious, though simple rooms, and most importantly, are cleaned daily and bed linen is changed about once every 5 days without reminders. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: weak Wi-Fi, 5 channels on TV, no microwave.

we rested at this "hotel" in January 2024. I highly do not recommend this hotel. the only advantage of the hotel is the location, everything else is questionable.
1. upon check-in, a man named Aslan, posing as the hotel administrator, soaked slippery jokes in our address and laughed that it was possible not to close the doors because he still has keys to all rooms (if we had known that this was not a joke, we would have treated this issue more carefully)
2. it was very cold in the room itself, the furniture was shabby, the water in the faucet barely ran.
3. the food in the hotel did not work, so I can't say anything about the kitchen, but during the season there is a cafe on the territory.
4. at night it turned out that bedbugs were present in the furniture
I can't explain anything more about the hotel itself. 3* it clearly does not deserve it. maximum of 1*
but there is a huge question about the staff, an employee of this hotel entered the room at night by opening the doors with his key and performed actions under articles No. 30 No. 29 No. 131 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation
Women are not safe even in their private room!

It seems that the location is convenient, everything is nearby - the sea, the park, the waterfall, the temple, and I definitely will not return to this hotel. Everything is beautiful in the photo, but in fact the jambs in the doors are falling off, the furniture is all crooked, shabby, in one room there is black mold under the wallpaper and we are offered this room without hesitation. Dust, feet sticking to the floor - obviously they have not been washed for a long time and are not going to. There is no water - turn on the pipes themselves, they say. The room is cold. But these are flowers. The audibility was such that they couldn't sleep. There are screams on the street, cars are honking - it's wedding day. Then the owner of the hotel or whoever he was brought a bunch of people to the first floor and they sat there and laughed, playing cards at 1-30 at night, knowing that he had guests in the room and that everything was audible. I had to go down and ask to sleep. Fortunately, we are here for one night, there is no desire to stay at all. They are shocked by the hospitality of the Abkhazians, they do not respect tourists at all, this can be seen immediately. We were glad that we were leaving. I love Abkhazia, but the service....

Everything is modest, not intrusive. In principle, everything is there. The most important thing is the magnificent location opposite the park with swans and a fountain. To the left of the entrance, the dining room is delicious and cheap. The cafe on the right is also not bad. You can see the Anakopian fortress from the balcony on the right, and the sea on the left.

We chose the hotel by rating and reviews, the expectation and reality are terrible, I don't know who writes such good reviews, apparently they haven't seen better. I'll write right away, they paid for it earlier through a travel agency, they couldn't change anything. We arrived at the hotel, went in, there is no one, there is no reception, come in who wants, okay, we found the Gunda (not the hostess), she's there for everyone (administrator, cleaning, laundry, etc.). They settled us in the room and SHOCK bugs crawl everywhere (said the invasion of bedbugs), caught 30 pieces on the first day if not more, and we were told, if you don't want there to be bedbugs, you don't need to open the windows, but how to ventilate the room then, at least you could install mosquito nets. Turn on the air conditioner, it buzzes somehow not well. The furniture is all beaten up, the sofa is dirty, it's not even pleasant to sit down, the laminate is all swollen, the wallpaper is moving away, etc. And what kind of bed linen was given to us all in holes. The bathroom is also not that, sitting on the toilet, you rest your knees and head against the wall. For 5 nights we have never changed towels and bed linen. There was no cleaning, only garbage was taken out, shampoo, shower gel was put only upon check-in. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, Abkhazia itself is a beautiful and chic country, we are delighted with it.

The hotel is lovely.
The room is spacious and very clean, the plumbing is in good condition, there is a hairdryer, refrigerator, kettle, cups, there is a dryer on the balcony, towels and bed linen are changed regularly, there is an ironing board and iron on the floor. For 200 rubles, you can give things to the laundry. On the ground floor there is a dining room (tasty, varied and inexpensive). The hotel staff are golden people, they will always help and prompt. There is a small market near the hotel (fruits, vegetables, fresh juices, cheeses, smoked meat, trout - everything is delicious, prices are normal).
Opposite the hotel there is a park (cafes, playgrounds, sports grounds). In the evening there is a disco in the park, the singing ends at about 23 o'clock.
The beach is nearby, urban, clean, there are changing cabins, showers, toilets for a fee of 10-20 rubles.
There are many cafes on the beach and there is an evening cinema.
The city itself is beautiful.
The people are polite and hospitable.
There are many historical places.

Cleaning is daily.The staff is helpful.It's like visiting old friends.The hostess of the hotel welcomes every guest, is responsive and hospitable. There is a sense of absolute security of trust. In the hotel itself and nearby canteens-the food is delicious and varied.The prices are normal. The sea is five minutes away-you can walk along the coast and choose your favorite place. I had a rest from 12/25/22 to 12/30/2022 a great hotel, the location is just super. The rooms are good. I didn't see any crooked furniture or mold. I didn't turn on the pipes myself, the water was always both cold and hot. It was cold only upon check-in (which is understandable at this time of the year, there is no central heating in Abkhazia), then the air conditioner and heater fixed everything. I've never been cold. Local youth used to hang out in the evenings, but strictly until 22-23 o'clock. After that, the silence is complete.

We stayed at the hotel from 06/07/2011 to 06/21/2011 with a child. A great hotel, rather solid 4. The room is bright, spacious, a soulful balloon overlooking the garden with singing nightingales.It was magical! The room had everything you needed, a comfortable mattress, kettle, refrigerator, air conditioning, TV. Clean, filtered water flows from the tap, which you can drink! We were in New Athos in late September - early October 2021. The Lernest Hotel has exceeded all expectations!!! Cozy, small hotel, well-renovated rooms are very spacious, bright, with a large balcony and very picturesque views. At the reception, the always friendly receptionist Aslan! Very friendly staff in the dining room, where you can have a delicious and very inexpensive snack. The rooms were cleaned every day. Towels and bed linen were changed regularly!

We are vacationing in Lernest from 04/16/21, including the time of writing the review, 2 children + 1 child.
Firstly, Abkhazia is a country of the Soul, the place itself is New Athos, it is the heart of Abkhazia. The hotel is conveniently located, across the street is the entrance to the park, you will go to the left, leaving the hotel - the Monastery, to the right - Tsarskaya Alley, Waterfall, Iverskaya Mountain, Simon the Canonite grotto, straight - the sea.
The local population is very hospitable and responsive. Only pleasant impressions ❤
We were met at the border-transfer from the hotel by agreement, warmly welcomed at the hotel

We had a rest in New Athos in August 2021! We stayed at the Lernest Hotel. The hostess, a friendly young woman, met us! We were forced to the 3rd floor (there is no elevator). The room is spacious, with a balcony, a view from the window of the neighboring hotel. The room was cleaned every day, towels were changed as needed. TV, refrigerator, kettle and air conditioning are all working. Very convenient location of the hotel- close to the sea and the sights! There is a small dining room in the hotel building, where you can eat from 8.00 to 22.00! Mosquitoes tried to overshadow the rest at the hotel and turn off the lights every day for several hours!

A good hotel, clean, fresh, there are no interruptions with water and light. The staff is friendly, the canteen is delicious and inexpensive.
It is located in the very center of Mount Athos, directly opposite the central entrance to the park. To the monastery 5 minutes on foot (do not listen to taxi drivers, they lie), to a normal beach 100 meters., the monastery pond is 50 meters away.
