The food is always fresh and very tasty, already drooling, a huge selection of dishes. Chic interior: fountains, bridges, like a mini town with unusual places... A homely atmosphere, you can retire or, conversely, relax among the masses of other tables. Friendly staff and fast service. Clean and tidy, good toilet, soap, napkins, everything you need. There are usually a lot of people. The overall impression is always positive.

The place is very cozy and spacious. There are 2 floors, wherever you want, you can sit there. In general, I have always loved the Lido for the menu and for the buffet. You approach, you choose. If you want lean, you want low-calorie, you want fatty, vegetable, and so on... There are a lot of desserts, salads, drinks for every taste.
The bistro system is impressive because you can either put or not report food to yourself. I usually ate everything here. And the prices are good... Not like in restaurants...
Minus: they made a paid toilet, or you go through the check... But who does not know, it may turn out to be with a nose... Unfortunately... At least the washbasins are a little closer and you can wash your hands for free)

In my opinion, Lido is one of the best "bistro" (or self-service) chains in Minsk. Very tasty and varied food, I have never had any complaints about the quality. Its own unique (well, almost, since there are already enough cafes in this style, but the Lido was the first) design.
Of the disadvantages: the price category is above average.
But there is almost no alternative for a good, varied and delicious meal with the whole family in the Komarovka area. All sorts of KFS, Poppies and burgers don't count. This is a completely different format and quality.
It is a pity that there are only two Lido establishments in Minsk.

Establishment of a catering system in self-service mode, carousel serving of dishes. The whole kitchen is in the open and the food is cooked in front of you standing in the window. The choice is standard post-Soviet with a bright bias towards the national cuisine of Belarus.
There are a large number of seats for different companies inside.

Lido na Nezavisimosti is probably the best fast food restaurant in Minsk👍🏼

A cozy self-service cafe. A good choice, all the dishes are very appetizing. There is something for vegetarians and vegans to choose from. The rest are also not deprived, of course. Prices are slightly higher than in similar self-service catering establishments, but this is a very popular place. In the evening, the coolest places are if you are lucky to sit by the window, overlooking the avenue.
I don't go there on purpose, but I like to go there if I have business in this area of the city. A good place for meetings, budget-friendly and delicious, of course, if you don't need waiters. You can have a delicious meal quickly, or you can spend the evening slowly. There is also an authentic interior in the traditional Baltic style. There is also another Lido within a 5-minute walk, near Komarovsky market. There are more seats, more space in the food selection room (no need to jostle with people with trays), but there is no view of the avenue. Otherwise, the same prices, the same dishes, the same stylish Baltic interior.

Sauces to choose from add flavor to the food, soups to choose from too, you choose everything yourself, a la buffet, payment at the checkout. There were not many people at noon, the cafe was clean, the cafe workers cleaned the dishes, there was security, they served quickly both in the kitchen and at the checkout. The sign is like a Bistro Restaurant. Be ready for the bistro after all. During the day, the self-service format is distribution. However, the choice of dishes is quite large. Clean, fast. There used to be a good fast food place. Now it's just terrible. The staff, and in particular the cashiers, are rude and unfriendly in the main. The prices are just a nightmare (like in a good restaurant). How can I pay 2-3p for a cup of soup (exactly a cup, I drink this kind of coffee)? Salads for a small portion are also 2-3p. Potatoes in the peel used to cost 0.5 kopecks, already under 0.8 kopecks. Prices are rising almost every day and unjustifiably. Tell me, how can you give 1.5-2p for a spoonful of sauce????? And a spoonful of French mustard is 2p (it costs a jar of 1-1.5p in stores). Pancakes are the most justified and most delicious in this institution (but apart from pancakes with cranberries and apples, they are not tasty). I read employee reviews about unsanitary conditions and hellish conditions and began to treat this institution even worse. And the juices are bottled from the package and it seems like a diluted glass costs 1.5 rubles, what???? In general, the price / quality is not for this institution. I do not advise, it is better to pay extra, for this money you can go to a decent institution and eat delicious food.

I specially visited the Lido restaurant after reading reviews on a tourist website before traveling to Minsk. Unfortunately, this particular institution did not live up to its estimates. In the evening, the hall was half empty, half of the food display cases were empty. Although the rest is quite enough. Several soups, hot (pork, beef, chicken, fish). The waiter said that they had recently opened after renovation. The second hall is still closed because there are few visitors. I don't have enough draft beer like in Cornflowers. There is only bottled beer. In general, the food is the most ordinary and delicious. You can come in for lunch or after work when you don't feel like cooking.

I took the same thing on Independence - disgusting, a bunch of onions, took it all off from above - and there was also a batter, as if yesterday's chops were piled with cheese, onions and mushrooms and baked. I will go to McDonald's, everything is always the same there, you will not be disappointed.

I didn't like it. The Attitude Of The Staff. Even anger comes from the stupidity and short-sightedness of the Lido staff.
There were three of us, and we had a little dog in our arms. We didn't walk around the hall with the dog, we sat at the table. And when the Food was brought, an employee of this institution came up to us and asked us to leave the institution in a convincing manner.
Of the food that I tried, I will put 3. The ratio is 1. In general, 2. I will not recommend it.

Working in this organization can be called outright slavery. Not only do you work for three people, but you get paid only for one. And the authorities do not care from the high bell tower in what conditions their employees work. It's easier to pretend that nothing critical is happening, and arrange for yourself a "feast during the plague / dancing on bones". Yes, there used to be a po of 650₽, but then there was a universal change of +50₽, in total the total po was 700₽. But in order for you to really have enough not only for food, communal services, and rent, you need to plow at one and a half rates and not get out of work at all.
But the bosses are still at a loss as to why people don't come to current vacancies. And the new ones don't even think about coming (they do it right). To begin with, change your attitude towards employees, and do not use them as some kind of thing.
P.S. I am writing my review here for the simple reason that the site of job reviews at the LIDO is no longer available.
© STILL an employee of the LIDO. So much for the whole truth about your establishment. Where every employee just works hard, and you (the boss) didn't give a damn about it. Then most of the employees don't care about this institution, including the bosses!!!

1. There are no restrictions on the number of portions of pancakes in one hand.
We had an order in front of us - 10 servings. Then - 20 servings with you! The girl at the distribution said that there would definitely be no draniki for another hour. We couldn't wait to try it.
2. Irresponsible attitude of the staff.
The child is allergic to dairy products. We took boiled potatoes, which turned out to be with the addition of butter. The oil was not specified in the composition!
I went up to the girl at the distribution. She clarified whether oil was added, indicated that it was not prescribed in the composition, and asked to specify. We decided to replace the dish with another one.
We returned to dinner in the evening, there was no correction.
By the way, the correction was also not noticed the next day!
For some it may seem like a small thing, but for people with food allergies it can be dangerous.

To begin with, I'm not a big walker in cafes and restaurants, so there's not much to compare it with. But as for the impression specifically from visiting this institution: I am satisfied, and I am more than satisfied enough.
Since the cafe assumes self-service, the main staff is the cook, and as I understand it, these same guys are often at the distribution, waiters (but they are exclusively engaged in cleaning tables after you have eaten), and cashiers. The guys are all adequate, not conflicted, they will always tell you about your questions (regarding the menu, of course).
The cafe has a fairly large hall and a large number of seats are organized, so there is always a place to sit. Pleasant music is playing in the background, which creates a rather pleasant atmosphere.
There is always something to choose on the shelves, but if the same pancakes are suddenly disassembled, then you will have to wait until the next portion is cooked (2-3 minutes) or choose something else.
By the way, the abundance of food is very diverse, for every taste and color. Of course, there are no restaurant delights here, but lunch is the best thing.
You can wash down the whole thing with tea, coffee, juices, fruit drinks, a drink or plain water, to each his own.
Bottom line: for all 5+, the food is delicious, everything is done with a soul.
