Of course, I will not speak for all the masters. Varya did it well, carefully. Tatiana did well too, the only thing that hurt was when she sawed the coating with a cutter. I'm not a master, but it seems to me that you can't cut down like that. It was from my past master that I left for the same reason, although in all my trips to the manicure masters I have never had such pain when removing the coating.
