Dolma pieces were ok, but alcohol drinks were really bad. I ordered 3 kinds of cocktails and they were absolute awful. I replied about it to a waiter and nothing had changed. The prices were expensive if compared to quality

"Mirzoyan Photo Library", a very interesting cafe in the center of Yerevan. The cafe is located inside a beautiful, cozy courtyard with an authentic room. The cafe has an interesting menu - a huge selection of unusual dolma options and there is a national dish bruch. The staff is pleasant and friendly.
I recommend the place as one of the must-see places in Yerevan.

A very very beautiful, authentic place, in terms of interior and exterior 100/10, everything is done with such taste that you are amazed. In terms of food, everything is very decent, the breakfasts are almost all excellent, as are the desserts. Coffee, unfortunately, is only based on espresso. The place looks like old Yerevan tiles, but for some reason there is no ordinary black oriental coffee. Maybe someone will say that this pretense is far-fetched, but it would be cool if such a position were added. They also charge 15% for the discussion, not 10%, which is a lot... With regard to the library itself, there is 1000/10. The employee is such a polite and pleasant guy that it makes you feel warm. There is also a lot of interesting film literature.

An interesting place, almost like a museum, sovereign shops, a library, a cafe with tables on the balcony, in greenery, silence.
Unusual, antique interior, tables where guests sit, from singer sewing machines, a varied menu.

For me, this is still the best place in Yerevan from which to work. Reasonable prices, normal coffee and delicious tea. The atmosphere and interior are just wow. Most of all I liked the people who work here. They are responsive, friendly and friendly.
It's not strange that the library is packed with people closer to lunch. Maybe because of this, Wi-Fi works so-so here. But these small disadvantages did not spoil my impression. I want to come back here.

We have been to Armenia 5-6 times before this place. We saw everything from Sevan to Dilijan. This time we decided to see a new Armenia and the first point was Mirzoyan Library.
There is no sign from the street, we intuitively went into the courtyard, where we did not immediately find shelves with books. A wide staircase hinted to climb to a wooden veranda, where tourists were having brunch. If you go left, you'll find a cafe, and to the right, you'll find what you came for. There was a single man reading in a quiet part of the terrace. I've decided, loony. It turned out to be the owner.
– Excuse me, do you have Wi-Fi?
– What is Wi-Fi? Yes, there is, there is. Only it's not a coworking, it's a library (with a touch of British in the accent, he clarified modestly so far).
– What's your name?
– Karen Mirzoyan
– Is this all yours? I guessed when I heard the name.
– Yes…
Then there was a warm excursion into the chamber space that Karen, as a photographer, had collected in this courtyard for 10 years.
On the second floor there is a library with books about photography and cinema of the 80s, in the cafe there are his photographs and other art objects: vintage packs of empty cigarettes, knives with messages and bouquets of dried flowers, which the owner collected, of course, himself.
Tired of the stories, but not indifferent to each guest, at the end of the conversation, Karen gives advice to go to their new place – Varpet, if there is time. We found it the same day and went to catch up with the concept.

An extremely atmospheric place with very nice people. There is an opportunity to read books on photography and even see a small exhibition. But it's much more pleasant to just come there to drink tea (ginger tea is top, but perhaps too sour) with dessert (coconut Brownie is 10/10, ice cream with rum is served with baklava, the combination is also 10/10) and sit.
I advise you to come in the evening, because during the day there are a lot of people with laptops + evening lighting creates an additional entourage.

The library has an extensive selection of albums by famous photographers that not everyone will afford to buy. Cozy atmosphere, interesting design. There is a cafe nearby, I was allowed to drink the drink I ordered in the library. I enjoyed spending about two hours in the library)

It is a very beautiful and cozy place. In the morning, you can come for a cup of coffee and sit enjoying the antiquity of this place, photos, and beautiful utensils. In the evening, lanterns are turned on, an atmospheric vermouth bar opens and ambient music plays, I advise you! (Be sure to try dolma with lungs)

Mirzoyan's photo library: coworking, coffee, food and bar
You probably know this place as a bar. Maybe even aware of the entourage vermouteria in the basement. But we recommend considering this place for breakfast as well. Why not?!

There's coffee here. Different types of cooking, but the grain seems to be the same. Americano was not bad. No wow, there are more interesting places nearby. But if you want to have breakfast in an interesting place, then it's fine.
Interior: 9
The old library was restored here. There is a coworking space with a gallery inside. You can sit outside or on the balconies, or inside. Everything is beautiful, old, lots of wood and the spirit of classic Yerevan. Definitely like it.
Music: 8
Different arrangements of pop and rock music are played. There is a DJ in the evenings. In the morning, it's just a pleasant atmosphere, nothing more.
Toilet: 7
It seems there are several of them here. One is exactly on the second floor next to the director's office. There are a lot of LEDs, but in general everything is decent and convenient.
Overall score: 7.75
As a bar, this place would definitely get 8.

The three of us came with friends, took the tables downstairs in the courtyard, the chairs wobble wildly, the tables too, the seats are not super comfortable, the table was wiped after the previous visitor only 40 minutes later when asked, and at the same time two different waiters approached during this time, well, exactly 4 times. The coffee is normal, nothing unusual, the price also corresponds. My friend really liked the pumpkin soup. When they first came, looked at the library, wanted to sit down, but changed their mind and forgot to pull one chair behind them, the staff in the library snorted super loudly and pushed it back with great passive aggression, it became very unpleasant, well, like, sometimes I don't push the chair right away and that........ in short, the food and the place are kind of ok (although we only tried soup and coffee!!!!) but the service is -100000000/10

A beautiful place, ± prices for the center, pleasant staff, very quiet and cozy.
But. Summer dolma for 7000 (in pepper and tomato), which is not on the menu but it is offered, despite the fact that the usual (in leaves) 2200 is something inadequate, maybe they forgot to put gold on top.

I can't say that I really liked it there. There are few seats, chairs are practically on the aisle. And it was not comfortable to sit. We went in as a family to get some exercise, after reading the reviews.The cafe is practically a museum of Soviet things and interior design. This place needs to be repaired. We drank tea and went for a walk. I don't want to go back to this place.

A very cozy place. Especially if you know the history of creation.
The library on the territory of the cafe is absolutely free. In order for anyone to have the opportunity to study for free. There are a lot of Russians working here now after the wave of emigration. They rent a hostel, but they come here to work.
There is an exhibition of photos in the library itself. When the exposure changes, the walls are repainted (!). I found the blue ones, the previous one was gray. The expositions have been hanging for 3 months, if I'm not mistaken.
The cafe is expensive, it's true (Americano x2 from the prices on the food court in the shopping center). Partly, apparently, to pay for the library.
The interior and simple ordinary dishes add up to an interesting atmosphere of being a guest.
