A wonderful restaurant! It is located a little lower, towards the sea, from the main tourist street, there are no crowds of tourists here. Very pleasant and polite staff, we were charmed by the girl, she switched to Russian without any problems after learning that we are from Russia. She advised on ordering dishes and even remembered some preferences (it was very nice when we returned for the second time that she remembered some of the features of the previous order). The guys are great, everyone is trying, they serve quickly. The cuisine is super, it is very good that there is a choice of both traditional Turkish dishes and something familiar from European cuisine. While you are waiting for the order, you will definitely receive a set of snacks as a compliment. Cozy and modern interior. Of all the cafes and restaurants I visited during my vacation, I liked Mivan the most.

We went in with friends based on reviews and did not regret it - a quiet, cozy place with polite staff. The waiter Beck (very attentive, always friendly) is one of the kitchen staff who speak Russian, very responsive. The dishes are prepared quickly enough, while you are waiting, they bring a freshly baked flatbread and snacks as a complement. From the menu we tried salads with grilled chicken, salad with salmon, chicken kebab, chicken fillet with mushrooms, lentil soup, fish soup and desserts with cheese and buttercream (served with ice cream), Turkish tea, coffee and apple tea (it smells like hot apple juice) I liked everything, we came for 6 days in a row.
The only thing that upset me was that in Istanbul you can smoke in restaurants, and instead of the delicious aromas of spices or tea, you breathe cigarette smoke. During all the days of the visit, this happened three times for 10 minutes, but this is a general problem, not a specific restaurant.
P.S. you need to be careful with pepper in dishes, it is not Bulgarian, but sharp and burning 🔥
In general, this is a very cozy restaurant, the main decoration of which is the wonderful staff 😊

Large portions, reasonable prices, wonderful friendly service! We are so glad that our hotel is right in front of this place. All the dishes are delicious! The Turkish breakfast was 566lr, but it was easily enough for two, we didn't even finish it. Soups from 160 lire, delicious, satisfying. Tea, coffee, snacks, and tortillas will always be brought as a compliment. As a result, a bowl of soup turns into a full meal. Come on in, you won't regret it. In other places, the prices are the same or cheaper, but the atmosphere is completely different and not as tasty. Thanks to the owners and staff of the cafe

It's a wonderful place, the staff is excellent, everything is delicious. 🤤 The snacks are served as a compliment from the establishment, and apple tea is served at the end. The prices are reasonable when compared with the restaurants nearby, they paid 1,700 lire for dinner for two.
It was my birthday and at the end the staff gave me a pleasant surprise in the form of a dessert with candles, music and congratulations.

I rarely leave feedback if I really liked or disliked it.
I really liked this place.
After staying in Istanbul for 4 days, I really wanted chicken soup, homemade like at home. And we found him.
1. The staff is unobtrusive (many have noticed how obsessively they invite you to different establishments while you are walking), it is very delicate here
2. The interior is very pleasant, more like a European one.
3. The menu is in Russian, which is a plus
4. The staff speaks Russian, which is a double plus.
5. All the food was served according to the rules and in turn.
6. Order: fish soup, chicken soup, Greek salad, beef, lamb quiche
To my surprise, there was nothing to add, the portions were not just large, but huge.
Everything is very tasty, the soup is homemade and rich, the meat just melted in my mouth.
All the dishes are decently decorated, in the style of a restaurant, something that you won't see in others (and maybe not like in Russia, but what is precisely decorated, and not in bulk on a plate).
7. The restaurant brought compliments (3 types of snacks and tea)
We enjoyed the food and the service.
I recommend
PS order a dish for two (salads, hot) the portions are very large.

The tea was said to be a gift, and in the end it was counted. The shrimp were very salty, so much so that it was impossible to eat, the soup was delicious, the meatballs were very fatty. They asked me to give them what they didn't eat with them, there were salads, rice and meatballs, they only gave meatballs. The prices are above average, we left almost 2,500 Liras.

The restaurant is modern and stylish. The staff is very friendly and can help with the selection of dishes. The portions of food are very large. We took shrimp with mushrooms, chicken kebab, dessert, fresh orange juice, cola.
They also brought us a bread plate and 3 sauces as a compliment (but as an exception, they brought us an additional 4 sauces) and more apple tea. Everything was quickly prepared. The service is very good. The drinks are great too.

We had dinner with my husband on the first day upon arrival, we were lucky - there was a free table! There are always visitors in the cafe and most importantly there are no touts! 😁
After that, we came here more than once to eat for lunch and dinner! I recommend it!

After 3 trips to Istanbul, we consistently visit Mivan - not cheap for a daily visit with a long stay, but the place is super to indulge.
I really liked Dana Lokum, a really delicious kind of Turkish steak.
The owner has a good apartment hotel in the same house, once in Istanbul we stayed in it by chance, and found this place.
I advise everyone in Fatih.

After good Moscow restaurants, there are few places where you get pleasure, they pleased you here. It took about 20 minutes on foot from the hotel, but it was worth it.
As a complement, snacks were brought, tea was also offered as a bonus, but it did not fit into us)
There were no unnecessary entries in the bill, which is also very nice, especially after the restaurants in the Sultanahmet area

Wonderful restaurant!
We went there with my husband after reading the reviews and they didn't lie. The receptionist guy speaks Russian, the atmosphere is pleasant , the prices are adequate (compared to neighboring establishments)
We didn 't order much , but we had enough + they also serve various snacks . In honor of the birthday, they brought a compliment - dessert and coffee
I recommend this institution to everyone.
