The 5th Fort Museum is an amazing place that leaves a strong impression. The building itself looks like a real historical artifact, and the opportunity to explore it literally from top to bottom is a real pleasure. At the beginning of the tour, you will be greeted by a small museum, which tells about the history of the fort, its construction, everyday life and similar structures in Belarus, Russia and nearby European countries.
After the museum, you can freely walk through the tunnels and rooms, as well as go to the surface and explore the surroundings. We were lucky enough to visit the fort at the end of August, the day before the reenactment event, which allowed us to communicate with the reenactors. Their presence added to the entourage and helped to better understand how everything was arranged here in the past.
Personally, I liked the 5th Fort even more than the Brest Fortress, due to its atmosphere and interactivity. However, it is worth considering that the location may present some difficulties for those who use taxis, and the owners of the Life operator may have problems with mobile communication. In addition, I would not recommend combining a visit to the 5th fort with the Brest Fortress in one day, as there may not be enough time to carefully explore all corners and enjoy the atmosphere of both locations. But a visit to the 5th Fort is definitely worth including in your plan if you are interested in history and architecture.

It's a very interesting place. It's better to come to the sutra to go through everything with full strength! A very large area, an interesting exposition. Unfortunately, we did not know that it would be even more interesting to purchase an audio guide! Unfortunately, the fort is falling apart and in my opinion it is not safe inside everywhere. In places, fences were made, in places a grid was stretched under the ceiling so that a brick from the ceiling did not fall on its head, but not all potentially dangerous areas are fenced.
A fox was met on the territory of the fort.
In general, it is worth visiting the fort and feeling the history, learn more about how it was not easy for our grandfathers to knock out the fascists!

Like the Brest Fortress, the place is very interesting from a historical point of view! Very atmospheric and filled with the spirit of that era! It's a good museum, but I recommend taking a guide to get to know everything as much as possible and immerse yourself in history! Well done for restoring and preserving the memory for posterity!!
