The museum is very interesting.
We recommend you to visit.
The Batumi Museum of Local Lore will be interesting to visit for both adults and children, who will be able to learn a lot about the Adjara region, its history, natural, cultural and other features here.

The children and I really liked it.
The museum, which has been around for more than a hundred years, consists of several departments that introduce residents and visitors to the history of the region's development: from the time when the ancient sea was located here to the present and objects created by man very recently. Information support for most of the exhibits is available in 3 languages: Georgian, Russian and English.

We visited this museum on the open day, when admission was free for everyone. I really liked it, the museum is quite large, there are interesting explanations in English and Georgian, it is really interesting, I advise you to visit) You can figure it out even without a guide, even without knowing Georgian, this is a plus

We visited the Museum of Adjara today. A very good museum. Rita Ioseliani, a very professional tour guide, tells interesting stories and answers all questions. The interesting story of the long-suffering Adjara is told in sufficient detail, all the exhibits are worthy of attention. Very informative. I recommend it to everyone to visit!

A small, cozy museum. There is everything here, as it should be in a local history museum. Be sure to go to the courtyard, there is the most interesting thing!

The family went to this museum. I liked everything. The museum is not large, there are about 13 small exhibition halls and a courtyard. It was all over in about an hour. 11 GEL was paid for a family of 3 people. We wanted to take a guide in Russian, but he was not there. All the inscriptions are in Georgian and English, and there are QR codes everywhere. We used an online translator and understood all the inscriptions perfectly.

It will be interesting for both adults and children. An hour is enough time, but two hours is better for a detailed study. The museum's collection is impressive. Thanks!

Since the road to Goderdzi was closed, and it was +19 in Batumi these days, we walked and went into this small museum, where there are no more than 40 paintings and sculptures combined. Nice women at the entrance and at the checkout. You can go and admire, because art is art everywhere!

The photo reviews below are confused with an art museum nearby. The Archaeological Museum of Adjara is an inconspicuous building with a large two-storey exposition and a pleasant courtyard with a whale skeleton, an old 19th century tractor and graffiti) The museum itself is interesting, the exhibition is large and covers different times. There are a lot of interesting things and you can even take a guided tour for a full immersion) I liked it, I recommend it!

There are few paintings, one Pirosmani and one microscopic Aivazovsky. The old paintings are in poor condition.

An interesting museum about Adjara - about the history, ethnography, fossils, animals and plants of the region.
The ticket is 6 GEL, for a child of 3 years old for free.
The tour in Russian lasts about an hour, for one person 15 lari.

An interesting museum. Everyone confuses it with the neighboring Art Museum, but this one is much more interesting. There is a whale skeleton in the yard. The examination will take about an hour.

It is interesting to visit a variety of museums, especially those with their own national culture. So, we got to the Adjara Museum of Art quite by accident, walking around Batumi. The museum was founded in 1995 and began to replenish its collection. Today, the museum presents many wonderful artists of different generations - and, of course, Niko Pirosmani.

The tours are only in English and Georgian. When we asked the guide in Russian, we spoke in English, thinking that we did not understand and called the price expensive.
