A well-designed museum of military glory, with many interesting exhibits. Lots of weapons, medals, letters. Pleasant staff complement the positive impression of the visit, despite the heavy subject matter.

The monumental composition "breakthrough", by Yu. Lyubimov, is made on the facade. In the lobby of the museum, Vladimir Krivoblotsky made a large-scale monumental painting "in the name of life on Earth", consisting of five separate compositions: "fascism will not pass", "struggle for life", "Liberation", "Bread of the earth" and "Collapse of fascism". In 1986, he received the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Belarus for this work. The museum staff says that 300 pairs of eyes are looking at us from the painting.
