A gorgeous place, cozy to the core, I would like to live there, quietly, quietly! The museum itself was impressed by the guide Eugene, a great soul and an interesting storyteller!!! There are many exhibits, information from the history of the mill! The only working watermill in Belarus! They will launch it especially for you and show you everything. Everything breathes history! Thank you very much!!! Thanks to Eugene!!!!

Haven't you heard about Zhodishki before? We also. But it turned out that Zhodishki is a special village: with a centuries–old history, with well-preserved architectural monuments. The fact that it once had the status of a city and Magdeburg law speaks volumes. Zhodishki are located on the Vilia River. There are many historical and cultural sites in the village. The Jesuit collegium, the Calvinist cathedral built in 1612, a distillery and a watermill, which was built in 1781, have been preserved here.
The mill is considered the oldest operating in Belarus — it was included in the list of historical and cultural values, and it still grinds flour with millstones using water.
The unique facility was restored in 1997 by a descendant of the mill owner. The mill building also houses an ethnographic museum and a grain and bread museum.

We went on excursions, signed up ourselves, having found contacts on the Internet. A very interesting tour was conducted for us by Evgeny Evgenievich, who not only works as a miller at this single working watermill, but also tries to interest the guests by conducting an excursion. The mill is still in operation! We were very pleased with this bright trip on our vacation. The exposition will be interesting to anyone, it concerns not only the mill. They started a mill for us, showed it in operation.

Very interesting, an interesting guide. An operating mill, visually. One of the disadvantages is that you need to sign up for a tour by phone in advance, you just won't be able to visit it "in passing".

A beautiful and interesting place. There is something to see and where to take a photo. I was late, and the museum itself was closed, but I managed to walk around the territory. I recommend you to visit.

We did not get into the territory, we looked from the bridge, in order to get into the territory you need to make a phone call and then someone will probably come, but it is not known whether they will come on Sunday, so it is better to call in advance so as not to come in vain.

An atmospheric place, worth a visit! You can't really see the mill from the outside, but inside there is an excellent exposition on three floors, which a sincere miller guide will tell you about and even start the millstones! Plus a beautiful territory and a waterfall at the dam 👍

A very cool and interesting museum, one of the best! Be sure to take a guided tour, which you need to book in advance and arrange a time. The museum is interactive, you can touch and twist a lot, which is especially suitable for children)

A unique place. I recommend taking a look. The mill is operational. Pre-order an excursion from the caretaker of the mill. Without a caretaker, you can only see the area around.

There is no schedule, and do not look for it in other comments. Phone numbers are not answered and do not try. Delete immediately from the points to visit from your trip, you will waste your time.

A must-visit. The only functioning watermill in the Republic of Belarus. 1781, if I'm not mistaken. Be sure to call before the trip if you want a guided tour for you. Made with a soul. The museum is small, but interesting and informative.
Many thanks to Eugene for the guided tour!

A wonderful museum and place! Be sure to call the guide (the locals will tell you the phone number) and he will open the mill for you, tell you and show you a lot of interesting things. Without an excursion, a visit would definitely be incomplete.

This is a working watermill, although the wheel is more of a prop, and there is a water turbine inside. The tour is informative, the grandfather, who is also the owner, talks in Belarusian. There is a room in which manual processing tools are collected, starting from planting grain to making flour. Various household items of our forefathers are collected on the second floor.
