This place is a scam. Don’t ever go there!!! Avoid in any situation!!! They are cheating on clients if they see you are foreigners and probably don’t speak Turkish!
So, to start with:
Prices are very high already on the menu (which you can check when you enter), but we thought it would be worth it. We ordered only mezes (5 of them for 2 people to share) and a plate of 6 prawns. Price for the prawns was no issue, however really overpriced - tasty, but nothing special, could be much bigger portion and more pleasant serving for this amount of money.
BUT THEN, they put mezes on the bill in a way they want!
We asked for 1 meze each type - 5 in total. They put somewhere 1, somewhere 2 or 3, saying that they made a bigger the plate for us. WE DID NOT ASK FOR THAT, not for this price!
Also, you can see some mezes on the menu, which are really not so expensive, but then they show you what they actually have, and 50% of these things are not on the menu. So you can’t know how much it costs, and have a surprise in the end.
For this pathetic dinner we paid around 150 EUR! No alcohol, just water… Ridiculous really…
Service is also nothing special, typical bazaar style. Live music was annoying, as there were only 2-3 tables occupied on a Friday evening (which was already a sign), and the musicians dance and sing right in front of your table, doesn’t matter if you want it or not.
Interior is old and outdated.
Can’t say anything bad about the food though - it was good, but their way of cheating on the clients just destroyed everything. Terrible people and management. Good lesson for us, however, to stay away from them for our future visits to Istanbul. Shame.

We were on a sightseeing tour of Istanbul and stopped here for dinner. The food is modest, nothing special. The staff is polite. The view of the canal is excellent
