Good afternoon, I want to tell you about my experience working with solid-fuel gas generator boilers KMV-30, company "Thermopass". The boilers were purchased in 2015 in the month of August, and were installed at the place of operation by the manufacturer's staff. The manufacturer claimed that the boilers are capable of operating on a single solid fuel tab from 8 to 12 hours, and its consumption is: 30 kg - for one heating day. It would be great if this were the case, but, unfortunately, the boilers worked on one tab at 50-60 degrees for up to 4 hours maximum, while consuming 100-120 kg of dry wood for one heating day. When opening two doors (furnace and blowhole) alternately, the boiler releases huge clouds of smoke into the room. After the operation of one heating season (6 months), the grates fell apart.
When starting the boilers, water leaked from the chimney into the furnace room, to which the representative of the company replied - "condensate". After further use, the boiler actually started to leak. In this regard, a representative from their company was called, upon arrival, he said that it would be necessary to open the boiler (with transportation to their base), explaining that water flows between the outlet of the chimney and the furnace (in the partitions). Upon opening the boiler, a crack was found in the intended place and a bluish water jacket. The crack was welded, but no guarantees were given for further operation. Having installed the boiler, for the new heating season - 2016, before working for two weeks, the boiler cracked again, in the same place. Contacting the head of the company with this problem, they were given a response of at least $ 600 for repairs, explaining that "it's your fault, you burned the boiler." On the website and in the manufacturer's passport there is information that, "Scale formation in corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant stainless steel AISI 304 (Russian equivalent 08H18H10) occurs with direct prolonged exposure to heating up to 900-940 ° C.", it is surprising how such steel could not withstand 100-110 degrees?
