I was here in July 2024.
A small observation deck is located on the roof of the hotel Belarus. Parking is available. Every half hour there is a lift in the panoramic elevator. There are beautiful views of the city above. I think there are special beauties in the evening. There is a small photo zone. It took me about ten minutes.

I really liked the observation deck, we were in sunny weather, Minsk is very beautiful and green! They take a separate elevator to the observation room, every half hour (00 and 30 minutes), the cost is 7.5 bel rubles per person, to be paid at the hotel reception, the time spent on the observation deck is 25 minutes). I was very surprised that there is garbage there, ice cream wrappers, chips, etc. are lying around, really it is impossible to remove?!

We had a vacation with our family in Minsk two weeks ago. By tradition, we stayed at the Belarus Hotel. The quality of service is always excellent. You can see the view from the window. There is a casino downstairs for those who want to. The large parking lot is guarded. In the photo, the park is right next to the hotel. Just downstream of the river is an island with a memorial to those who died in Afghanistan (it's a little creepy inside the chapel). When leaving the island, the historical center of the city is on the left: old houses with tiles and courtyards. You can come in and take a picture. It's all pure old stuff! Then across the bridge there is a metro station with a memorial to the victims of the stampede... In short, you can talk endlessly. Compared to Smolensk: there are no pharmacies, all kinds of dixie fives, etc. within walking distance. There are no stalls for fruits and vegetables and tobacco. And in general, I saw only a few smokers there (which I think is a very good thing). There are no police on the street. There are no traffic police on the roads. It is advisable to have a local ruble on public transport. You cannot pay with a card in a trolleybus or tram! Although the mir card can be used to pay for services everywhere. What to visit depends on you: the zoo (gorgeous! get ready for three or four hours) ; metro - welcome to the world of Glukhovsky. Unfortunately, there is no McDonald's in Minsk anymore. There are brands in shopping malls that we don't have (that's why we went there to buy) And so, it's better to eat in the new Vasilek restaurant chain! The best pancakes and a grandmother, a meat pan, and everything authentic that you can imagine. Breakfasts are also there: pancakes, cheesecakes, coffee. Everything is very tasty! Ah! I also wanted to tell you about the store "Belarusian flax" We bought there. But that's after. If there are any questions...

We could not appreciate the beauty of the city from above, because the organization is lame on both legs.
We have already tried to take our guests there 5 times in different periods.
the 1st time it turned out that you need to make an appointment in advance, because the elevator lifts 1 time per hour. They gave me a business card.
the 2nd time we called, the recording was busy, we had to wait for several hours.
for the 3rd time, it was not possible to make an appointment for a reasonable time.
It was last year. We were already more prepared for this. I called in advance to make an appointment. They replied that they did not book by phone, but they could drive up, the elevator lifts every half hour.
So, for the 4th time!
Have arrived. We say we want to get up. A security guard comes up with us at the same time and tells the girls from the reception, don't let them in for a couple of hours, we have a delegation here... It 's a bummer .. Come back in a couple of hours.

What do you think? Did we get there after arriving 3 hours, arriving 5 minutes before the middle of the hour? - Of course not!! We can suggest that you come by 17 o'clock...
well, why not now? The answer is simply "cherry on the cake" - and you didn't book!!!
So we called, did you say you weren't booking? We came- you sent us for a walk for a couple of hours! What else needs to be done?
Dear friends, do you consider this a normal level of service? The provision or non-provision of a paid service at will, according to their own rules that vary from circumstances? So in the morning, and at lunch the delegation, and then come back later... do I need to book, but not by phone? And how? Then the guests of the capital say that we are like in the USSR? Well, yes - the level of service is at the same level. We are ashamed of you.

A very nice hotel. There is an observation deck on the 22nd floor, the city is visible from all sides. There is a swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, shower (I don't know what it's called) but the shoulder and neck massage under it is wonderful. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the staff is polite. Dining room-you can order breakfast and lunch, there is a restaurant, etc. In general, everything is great! Even excursions can be booked.

we stayed in the hotel for two nights on the 18th floor, miraculously managed to climb to the observation deck two hours before the return train) I really wanted it at sunset, and we recommend it at this time) the elevator rides every half hour until 22 o'clock, if I'm not mistaken. The capacity of the elevator is small - a maximum of 7 people and if you come right on time, you can just be late, it happened to us twice! Ideally, go to the reception in half an hour, take a ticket and wait for the guard to come and take you upstairs. The observation deck is small, the roof is a roof, but I liked the view, the city was flooded with a delicate pink light. This is, by far, the best observation deck in Minsk, and we were on several mountain tops. library, shopping center gallery and parking in the shopping center on Nemiga, Ferris wheel in the mountain park. No comparison, of course. We have not been to The View restaurant, although it is praised in terms of views, apparently, we will go to the next visit to Minsk - the city fell in love with itself!❤

The observation deck of the Belarus Hotel offers a very good view of the whole city. Well, maybe not all of it, but it can be seen far away. However, the visit is paid, even for hotel guests. A good view of Minsk, the price is 3.5rubles/person, the lift rises every half hour. Of course, it is a stretch to call the elevator a sightseeing one (but maybe it is not called that), one wall is completely transparent and allows you to admire the climb. You can walk on the roof and take photos from three locations. The playground is well equipped enough (you won't fall out, but especially dexterous ones can drop the phone😔) It's worth visiting at least once

I have long dreamed of visiting the observation deck, which is located in the national library. The building itself is something amazing. The spaceship. I really liked the pan-ceramic elevator that took us to the very top. It feels very unusual. The observation deck offers a view of the park and the neighborhoods of Minsk. We also looked into a cozy cafe. Where very cute butterflies made of newspaper sheets live on the wall.
