Great restaurant! Atmospheric, located in a lowland, surrounded by greenery, trees. Any kind of food is on top. We were here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pomegranate wine is very tasty here, I recommend you to try it. The service is excellent, special thanks to the waiter Pasha. Live music in the evenings. Come to the Old Garden restaurant, you will not remain indifferent.

An excellent restaurant in the very center of Baku, in the old city near the Maiden Tower, While the restaurant is located a little away from the hustle and bustle of the city, in a cozy garden.
The interior is cozy, the kitchen is beyond praise. I especially recommend khan pilaf and lamb ribs. Take these dishes for a company of 3-4 people. The portions are very plentiful.
I would especially like to mention the very sincere staff. The service is very sincere. I would especially like to mention the waiters Amil and Pasha. Although all the other guys are just great too. We returned to this restaurant several times.
We were in Baku in March 2024.
If we come again, we will definitely go to the Old garden.

A wonderful restaurant in the old town! The name fully justifies - this is really a garden in which tables are organically placed (including the one at which you need to sit in an oriental way, that is, without shoes). The kitchen does not cause any complaints, and the service (at least our waiter- Nijad) creates a desire to come again.
P.S. Try sturgeon with pomegranate!

Well, it's just great! The very location in the old town at the ancient excavations! It's cool even in the heat. Far from the hiking trails. The menu is just a fairy tale! The service is great! Wild parrots in the trees! I strongly recommend it!

I intended to deliver a well-deserved 5th. But...Before publishing my opinion, I have a habit of reading what other visitors think about this place... And quite an adequate assessment of the institution, both in terms of food quality, serving, authenticity, adequate prices and location...I was surprised that each review mentions the name of a particular waiter. The model scheme, in my opinion, is as follows: when the waiter realizes that the food and the overall impression of the place is positive, a business card is presented with a request to leave a review and mention the name ...
Ugh....how unpleasant it is to realize that adult men, Caucasians, are forced to ask for it.
Our waiter-(I will not intentionally mention his name, so as not to harm him) -was really very attentive and helpful and also repeated this scheme at the end of the service.
I liked everything very much, except for personnel management. I recommend a visit. It's delicious, some items are cheaper, some are more expensive for different positions and positions. Worthy. The management! Please think about other ways and criteria for evaluating the work of waiters.

The most delicious place in Baku! Delicious food. It is located a little to the side. We got there by chance when we were wandering through the streets of the old city. The cafe was a little "hidden" in the courtyard, so there weren't many people during the day, the interior was wonderful, everything was mega delicious, instant serving of dishes and a very polite waiter. The menu is in Russian and a Russian-speaking employee, which is very convenient.

The best restaurant in BAKU!!! It's one digit in the top five!!! Not pretentious, but being in the old town and very soulful!!! In vain !!! Very, very, very!!!! You just have to be!!! The price is excellent, hookahs are cheap, compared to the rest. Be sure to try the pomegranate wine, theirs!!!!

Ooo!!!! This is one of the most important establishments we have visited all over the world. It's amazing that there is such an atmospheric place in the very center of the old city! I was very pleased with the varied and very tasty cuisine. We were also served by the young man Pasha, the service was at the highest level, we felt welcome, not visitors. After visiting, I became a fan of Azerbaijani cuisine. My ardent recommendation!!!!

One of the worst establishments in the magnificent city of Baku! I will not talk about all the schemes of deception in this institution, only about some ... For example, order freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, and get an incomprehensible diluted pomegranate-flavored compote ... for 6 manats a glass ... For example, order delicious meat in a tandoor, and get almost bare bones ... for 80 manats, with a declared dish weight of 1.2 kg - there will probably be 700-800 g of bones and quite a bit of meat... you can't treat guests like that! I definitely do not recommend visiting!!!

This place is amazing. Color. Food. Service.
The portions are huge!!!!! Salad with tomatoes can be taken for two! Meat dishes can also be safely taken for two🫣 Be sure to try their pomegranate wine! This is something incredible! We also tried quince, also delicious, but pomegranate is a favorite.
Kutabs are simply delicious. We definitely recommend the place!

They carried the menu for a long time, but the order itself was brought very quickly.
Very tasty lamb kebab, pomegranate wine, local grape wine. Kutabs, gyurza - everything was delicious.

This restaurant is brought during excursions to the obnd and dinner. They offer to try the national cuisine, I came here according to the reviews on 2-gis to try kutabs. I took it with greens. It was sooo salty. The service is peculiar: I waited a long time for someone to come up. The waiter came up, but in the process of my order, he just turned around and left. I came back in 5 minutes as if nothing had happened. Not to say that it is very tasty. A wonderful restaurant in the old town.
Fast service, friendly staff.
I can't say that the dishes were a direct gastronomic delight, but the overall impression is good.
For three people (without alcoholic drinks, only tea), the bill came out ~ 95 manats.
10% maintenance is included in the bill.
I recommend visiting at least once and sitting in the courtyard in the evening.

I was in this restaurant when he occupied the very corner, and the tables were on the platforms above and the guys were running back and forth with samovars. The kutabs were very tasty. Now the restaurant has occupied the entire historical premises, and the kutabs are just as delicious. We also ordered a samovar of tea for them - we didn't sleep all night.
