There is a very beautiful park around!
The main thing that struck me was the facade of the building. It's just fantastic!
Inside, a historical museum has been made in the rooms of the palace.
Photographs, exhibits, paintings. It's not very clear without a tour, but you can walk around, see everything in 30-45 minutes.
Very beautiful interiors.
The entrance is 25 thousand soums adult for foreigners.

In 1871, having cleared a site in the middle of the Armenian and Jewish mahallas, separated from the Muslim city by a canal, Khudoyar began to build a palace in order to live out his old age in it
The facade is perhaps the most beautiful architecture that exists in the Ferghana Valley! Not having had time to live here, and robbing the valley dehkans with taxes "on thorns" and "on weeds", Khudoyar nevertheless built an outstanding monument, which was admired by the tsarist officers.
None of the elements of the ornaments repeats the other, even the side walls of the arches - and they are all different!

This place is very different in its architecture from the rest of Uzbekistan.
Nicely. There is a museum and you can understand, read and or listen to the history of the Khan and the founding of the city.
Being in the park is very beautiful

There is a beautiful building, a historical museum, but still I expected more from the palace, although in Tashkent the exposition in the Museum of the history of Uzbekistan is generally so-so.

It is a very informative place, unexpectedly rich exposition, it is clear that the museum continues to develop and scientific work is being carried out in it. As a tourist destination, it also deserves high praise: there is an audio guide, attentive staff, the territory is clean, you can buy souvenirs.

One of the places to visit in Kokand. This is the palace of Khudoyar Khan. The combination of Oriental and European masters. A lot has been preserved. As a bonus, admission is free on Sundays.

A wonderful example of oriental architecture. The design of the palace served to establish and increase the popularity of the school of Rishtan craftsmen, who decorated the facade with tiles and wooden ceilings with the finest paintings.

Perhaps the main attraction of the region! And, unfortunately, one of the few tourist spots in the city is not the same Kokand now... It was somewhat disappointing that reconstructions (restoration) are being carried out outside, but this does not interfere with the inspection of the interior of the palace.
The majolica of the portal and the walls of the main entrance is quite unique for Uzbekistan in terms of color scheme and differs, for example, from the Samarkand or Bukhara versions of the decor of similar structures.

Great park! It's not very big, but it's so cozy, wonderful for walking with the whole family and relaxing! There is a small remark, in some places the place is very noticeable, or they do not clean up in time, or the residents themselves litter, whatever is good.

It is difficult to negatively assess architectural monuments and places of power. The palace impresses with its paintings and monumentality. There is a museum on the territory where you can briefly get acquainted with the history of the conquest of the Kokand Khanate by the Russian Empire.
But I will tell you about the disadvantages. There is no navigation from the word at all. The exhibits are not signed. The courtyards are empty. It is sad that the attitude towards historical heritage is mediocre. It is definitely worth visiting there.

I advise everyone who comes to the wonderful, delicious, beautiful, friendly city of Kokand to visit this palace. From the very entrance to the square, approaching the Palace with every step, you will admire the grandeur of this Palace, its flatness, its beauty and historicity. You'll want to watch it from the inside. And it's worth it.

On weekdays, it is not always possible to find a Russian-speaking guide (on Tuesday she was not there), while English and French speakers suddenly were. The palace is small, although it gives the impression of being gigantic. The khan's own reception room is a terrible remodel, and even of poor quality. The separately preserved rooms of the viziers' reception rooms look much smaller than you initially imagine.
Suddenly there is an art gallery that has nothing to do with the Kokand Khanate. The entrance ticket cost only 200 rubles, for this money it will go.

The pearl of Kokand. The facade should be viewed early in the morning, then it is fully illuminated. You can walk around the palace, a walking gallery is made around. Inside is also very interesting and picturesque. Good photo zone.

The palace is small. You can walk around the entire palace in half an hour at most. Entrance tickets for residents of Uzbekistan are 5000 soums (valid for April 22, 2024). There is a tour guide on staff, you can order on the spot. The palace is almost completely restored. The painting room is very interesting. Otherwise, it's a one-time visit. There is a park area and a tourist street nearby. In the park area there is a tree whose trunk is about seven people in circumference. The city of Kokand itself is very clean and tidy, the buildings in the center are all one or three storeys high.

The house museum itself is worthy of attention considering that the last khan of the Kokand Khanate lived here. A clean park was made around. There are many restorations, there is a museum inside the palace. Entrance is paid - symbolic.
