"The real name of the educator is Samuel Gavrilovich Petrovsky-Sitnyanovich.
He was nicknamed Polotsk by his place of birth, since it was in the ancient Belarusian city that the future theologian, scientist, poet and playwright was born in 1629.

I enjoy looking at sculptures, art objects, busts...Semion Polotsky is no exception. He is a theologian, educator, writer, and even his real name is Samuel, like one of my grandfathers! Previously, names were given according to the church calendar, and not at the request of parents.
