Amazing hotel with the rich history, comfy rooms, delicious breakfast, excellent service! Patisserie and Orient Bar are must-visit as well. We get a beautiful sweet compliment from hotel while checking in:) Perfect location and perfect place for romantic trip with a piece of mystery !

Must visit place of İSTANBUL you should definitely walk in to Hotel and get a cup of coffee if you have time if you would read about the hotels history it is more than what you expect

The hotel is a museum, the hotel is a history. I've always dreamed of spending a weekend here, and voila! The hotel is centrally located near Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. This place is like a small jewelry box, with treasures at every turn! Crystal chandeliers, paintings, antiques are everywhere. The elevator is one of the first in Europe (hotel guests can use it). A French coffee shop, a 5 o'clock tea party in a luxurious room with a grand piano, and a cozy bar. A small and cozy spa, I had time for a foam massage (peeling).Lina from Bali with magical hands, thank you! The Ataturk Museum room can be visited at a certain time (free of charge). Breakfast at the Agatha restaurant was pleasantly surprised by the variety/choice, it would be great to see another glass of champagne and strawberries there. The room overlooks the Bosphorus, has a pleasant view, the bed is comfortable, the towels are snow-white. The bathroom and shower are made of marble, cosmetics from Molton Braun, in other rooms of a higher category-BVULGARI. Cons: slightly tired bathrobes and sometimes an unpleasant smell in the bathroom (ventilation, I suppose). In summer, there is a veranda, pleasant coolness, marble floor and beautiful details. The old hotel is very well located. Beautiful interiors, great rooms. The breakfast is not bad. Next to my room was the room where Agatha Christie lived and wrote "Orient Express" there. Not the most expensive hotel in Istanbul, I recommend it if you don't mind the money)

One of the most beautiful hotels in Istanbul. We always stay only in it. Only here are the most magnificent interiors of the early 20th century, dishes in the restaurant and cafe, menu, service.. - everything is perfect! The breakfasts and the five o'clock tea are beyond praise. I would especially like to note the work of the staff, namely Mr. Salih at the reception. A very cool hotel in Istanbul in the Pera area. A hotel with a history. You can read it on the Internet for those who are interested. We had a room on the 6th floor with a view of the Golden Horn and a small terrace. The room itself is small, but everything you need is there. In fact, we only slept there, since this was our first trip to Istanbul and the tour schedule was tight. The breakfast is good, without frills. But we had enough. The service is excellent. A very ambiguous hotel, expensive finishing materials, modern equipment, there is a good spa.
Convenient location, but unfortunately the advantages end there, it seems that the best times of the hotel are far behind.
The food is very mediocre, the breakfasts are monotonous and meager.
5.It still implies waiter service, selection of drinks, but you will not be offered here.
There are no dental kits and shaving accessories in the rooms, which is very surprising considering the "stardom" of the hotel.
And finally, yes, it happens that the hotel is not new, but usually the staff at least tries to brighten it up with service, it is very mediocre here.
In my opinion, for a city hotel, this is something in the region of 4-3 stars.

The legendary hotel, where the cream of European society, arriving on the Orient Express, settled. And Ataturk respected this place, there is its historical number. You can get in by prior arrangement. In general, they let in guests, as we understood. But we went through the tea room, unfortunately, all the tables were occupied, and even the door was closed after us. We bought a jar of branded tea and walked through the hall, looked at the window of Ataturk's memory and New Year's decorations. The aura itself is impressive! It seems that my favorite Hercule Poirot is here somewhere...
