You need to wait for a group, there are about 50 people in the group. But the most important thing is who goes on Yandex - do not go to the peasant for a free tasting, where it says "free parking" above the yard, it seems to be friendly, but in fact it will start to sell at exorbitant prices anything that can be bought in Batumi much cheaper. We were just tired and bought half a liter of pomegranate juice for 30 lari (1200 rubles).

On the border of the Greater Caucasus and the Colchis lowland, 20 kilometers from Kutaisi, there is a small Georgian town of Tskhaltubo. 5 kilometers from the city there is a mysterious attraction of Georgia — karst caves, among which the most visited and equipped is the Kumistavi cave, the second name of which is Prometheus Cave.
This cave was discovered in 1984, and almost immediately became a visited tourist attraction. The largest cave in Georgia stretches underground to a depth of as much as 11 kilometers, and only a tenth of it is open for visiting and inspection. But even in this area, a walk takes at least an hour.
Today it is one of the most attractive and tempting places in Georgia: underground rivers and lakes, waterfalls, bizarre stalactites and stalagmites, colorful lighting — all this attracts with its beauty and strangeness. A visit to the Kumistavi Cave gives guests a unique opportunity to explore the underground world of the region in all its beauty.
For example, you can take a 1.6-kilometer hiking route or a boat trip along a real cave river. The temperature inside the cave at any time of the year is kept at around 14 degrees, which makes it comfortable to visit.
Prometheus Cave got its second name thanks to a Caucasian legend, according to which the hero of Amirani, like Prometheus, angered the gods, was punished — he was chained inside the cave, and an eagle tormented his liver for days and nights.
