Be sure to visit if you are nearby. An interesting location with modern facilities and a magnificent view of the sea from the observation deck. There is a mini museum with the history of the settlement. Green terraces with vineyards and paths. The territory of the fortress is not large in area, well-groomed and beautiful. Admission is GEL 8 per adult. Near the fortress in the village of Tsikhisdziri there is a Petro Beach with a waterfall and a wooden beach with a banana grove. Everything is within walking distance.

The territory is pleasant, well-groomed and although small, there is a place to walk. It is easy to get from Batumi, from Chakvi by taxi. There is an observation deck and benches for recreation. I am very happy with the trip there.

A small fortress on the seashore with a great view. By itself, it is not very large and heavily destroyed, but there is something to look at, although there is not enough information.
Plus, a greenhouse for lemons was built along the fortress in Soviet times, now also dilapidated, but at the same time a small exhibition about the history of this place is organized there

A beautiful and atmospheric place.Who is vacationing in Kobuleti and going to Batumi. The place was put in order (we were here before), although the entrance became paid.There are places for beautiful photos, the remains of an ancient fortress, you can walk with a guide, a garden gallery, there is a lift for people with disabilities.There is a beach and a cafe downstairs.I recommend you to visit.

There's not much to do here. The entire location can be viewed in 20 minutes. A pile of stones with a history. Even the taxi driver on the way there said: Well, a fortress is like a fortress, there are many of them here.
Nevertheless, my husband liked this place.
I conclude: for an amateur. If you like ancient stones and places "with history", you may like it. It didn't go well for me.
Of the inconveniences: it is difficult to go back- taxi drivers go far (they come only if they pay by card, which is irrelevant in our case) and you either have to wait until a car or a bus turns up. In our case, we had to look for a return car for 40 minutes.

It is paid, but the ticket is inexpensive, in the area of 250 rubles for local money, it is very beautiful there, the fortress is located on a hill, an unreal view of the turquoise sea and the nearby cities of Batumi and Kobuleti opens from the observation deck, there is a very beautiful rocky beach below

Couldn't get in. Either the schedule is incorrect or some kind of game and no one is allowed in. The administration simply does not command any respect. They sit together with the guards, smoke on the bench and shrug their shoulders. If you plan to visit 10 times, please check back and so on. It is far and often useless to travel from Batumi
