It would be all right if they warned about the presence of incredible hot chili peppers on vegetables. It looked like a string bean and my friend felt very bad when she swallowed a piece. I managed to spit it out, but it burned my whole throat. I can't even appreciate the rest of the food, because I didn't feel the taste.
Well, it was possible to merge it into a large stream of people and the waiter forgot to warn, but when after dinner we came up and said that we should have warned about it - the waiters smiled slyly, it looked like banter. An unpleasant aftertaste, spoiled the mood and digestion! I do not recommend it!

A wonderful place!!
Prices don't bite. The serving of dishes is fast and with a full landing. The kitchen is open until 22h!!!
The products are of good quality, cooked with love. The waiters are smart, polite, will help with the choice, (they speak Russian)! They know their job!

If you are in Baku, then you just need to visit this restaurant. The most colorful place in the center of the old old town. Here you will be fed delicious meat and dolma with yogurt. I have never tried it anywhere else in Baku. Many thanks to Hokum, the waiter of this restaurant, for the excellent and attentive service. We were at a restaurant with my family on November 23. Russian Russian was very pleasant, There is a menu in Russian, the waiters also speak Russian, good service, efficient. We were on Sunday, there were a lot of people, including locals. We waited for a table for 15 minutes. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable. At about 19:00, live music began, a young guy sang songs in Azerbaijani and English. We definitely recommend it

A very famous place. But, in my opinion, it is overrated.
Tomato salad - tomatoes are the cheapest, in neighboring restaurants they are many times better. The saj for two is small, the meat is not tender, the eggplant is tasteless. The soups are medium. The interior is "at the mother-in-law's".
Fast service.
In general, it's fine in terms of price / quality - but you DEFINITELY don't need to queue there. There are excellent other restaurants nearby that are not promoted by guides

They recommended this popular place to us, which was extremely disappointing…
It started with greasy menus, then the waiter, who practically speaks neither Russian nor English, poked at the menu, he wrote it down…
Food(( Lamb lullabies - catastrophically fatty and with a strong smell of old sheep, they could eat…
The liver kebab was better, but also with a strong smell and too salty!
It's not a big deal because hummus and tomato salad are not bad snacks.
In general, I do NOT recommend it!

You shouldn't have been fooled by the reviews
There are restaurants in Baku with much tastier food!
We have been waiting for our very tough meat for a very long time, the tortillas, like in many other restaurants in the city, are delicious.
Good service, nice prices. Tips are included in the bill, which is rather upsetting.

We came here based on reviews. We hadn't booked in advance, so we knew we'd be queuing. We didn't regret it a bit!! The food is very tasty, large portions. A great place in the old town. I received recommendations to go to it from the locals. Lunch time on Saturday is almost full boarding, guests are both tourists and locals.
We ordered: okroshka in Baku, ayran, pomegranate wine, tea, lamb lula, chicken pilaf, kutabs, a couple of salads.
Everything was brought in the correct sequence - first the appetizers, then the main dishes.
Kutabs are simply amazing, lula is the most tender, pilaf is incredible, although you should not even compare it with Uzbek pilaf - these are completely different dishes.
The price of this whole gastronomic trip is less than 80 manats (5k rubles) for two.
