The funicular in Tbilisi to Mtatsminda Mountain is a historical attraction that should be visited by all visitors to the city. There is a restaurant of the same name at the very top. The place is expensive and famous. We went to the restaurant for only one thing – to try the famous donuts. I really declare that these are the most delicious donuts in my life. Hot, crispy, with delicious cream inside. The most important thing is to stop))). A calorie bomb, but very tasty. But the Waters of Logidze, praised by all, are overrated.

Probably the main advantage of this particular restaurant is the huge full-wall panel in the banquet hall of the artist N.Ignatov "Dedication to Pirosmani". You can look at it as much as you want, and always find new characters.Who doesn't know, try to at least ask to see it-it's a masterpiece!
I also remember this place in the 90s. The restaurant was closed, and the panel was completely unattended in an empty hall, but the benefit was preserved. 🍇

The restaurant is located on a hill, I got from the bottom of the funicular to the top. There were few seats, but the administrator (a nice man) put me on the balcony, where I actually met the sunset. The views are incredible . The price is usual for Tbilisi . The waiters speak only English. There are a couple of attractions near the restaurant. They work until 23.30. There is a small queue for the ascent and descent, but it passes quickly. The cost is 22 GEL with a round-trip card .

Shkmeruli (delicious sauce, tender chicken, fried garlic was added on top, if it got in, it very much interrupted the taste)
The vegetable salad is very tasty, everyone praised it! Top dressing, sour and salty
Khachapuri is excellent, lots of cheese, good dough. After dipping into sauces from the dishes, it was delicious
Satsivi is an interesting serving, tender chicken, excellent sauce. Delicious
And now about what I didn't really like:
The steak was ruined! Very dry meat, they asked for medium roasting, in the end it was well done
The pork ribs turned out to be not pork ribs (as it was on the menu), but pork belly and sooo salty! That's right very
Service: we forgot to bring salads at the end of the evening, it was a shame. We ordered meat, there were not enough vegetables, but they were not brought.
Result:
You can visit once, the view is crazy. It is worth going and ordering Georgian cuisine - it is really very tasty here. For the sake of everything else, it's not worth it

The waiters do not know Russian, although 50% of visitors are residents of the CIS, a strange approach to recruitment, you need to know the language in which your guests come, in all hotels there are no problems with this. It is also important for a good restaurant to constantly be near the guest, to offer something , to find out if everything is okay, if you like the food, to offer something, pour wine, there is a complete failure, they never came up themselves, constantly waving their hands and calling for such a level of institution is simply indecent, tips are exactly 0 for this approach, the owner screwed up a lot here that he did not build a training system, also the lack of a menu in Russian looks crazy, even in any hole in Vietnam or Cuba they will bring you a crooked oblique translation. The waiters, accordingly, cannot advise anything. Russian Russians and the Russian language are suspected to be biased by the owner.. I always try to follow the reviews and in large numbers, but there is a complete bottom. The only thing that's really good is the view of the city, but the restaurant has nothing to do with it, it's not his merit. In general, it's not worth eating here, drink coffee or tea with dessert, look at the city from the balcony and leave. You can have wine, it was pink and delicious .

Local donuts are mandatory, as is local lemonade. The park is good, the roller coaster is not worth the money, it's worth arriving early, there are huge queues for the descent in the evening. But you can go down a good, well-maintained staircase, almost completely alone. A good place with a stunning view of the city.

The worst place I've ever been!! Disgusting service! There were no empty tables, at first we waited at the entrance for about 15 minutes. The table we were seated at was shaky, and no one came up for a long time. We wanted to have coffee with desserts and ordered a meat pie in addition. We waited for the food for 40 minutes, but we left hungry. At first, they brought us the wrong order at all. Then I couldn't wait any longer and I just wanted to leave, but they told us that we had to pay for the food anyway. Where have you seen such a thing in general? In general, it turned out that our order was incorrectly accepted and instead of a meat pie, they were cooking stewed chicken and no one told us that it was cooking for 40-50 minutes. And because this dish is made to order, we were forced to pay for it. To my indignation about why the order was incorrectly accepted and why I should pay for what we did not order or eat, why we were not warned that this dish was being prepared for a long time, the waiter said that this was my problem, that I should have asked about the time, although it was his job That's what the service is all about!! If we had been warned about the time, we would not have waited so long, besides, we did not order it, we would have realized even then that there was some kind of mistake in the order. But maybe they just did it on purpose. In general, this is a disgusting place, we were forced to pay for something that we did not order, we left hungry and in a bad mood for all the holidays. It is very sad that in such a place, which is the hallmark of Tbilisi, the service is so disgusting. I hope they choke on the food they made us pay for.

Khinkali and khachapuri taste like everywhere else, nothing over-the-top. A portion of khachapuri is too small. Therefore, I consider the prices a little too high. The staff is good, but sometimes they pretend that they don't know Russian. There is a lot of space. Smoking is allowed outside and you need to be prepared for a smoky neighborhood.

The funicular is a cool thing! The view from the mountain is amazing! The park on the mountain is great for walking and entertainment, and there is a park for children and adults.
