My visit to the palace took place on 07.09.24. I will immediately say about the park area, since for me it is much more important than all the riches and decorations. The territory is huge, you can make friends with the squirrels who live here. A large number of shops, fantan. The palace itself certainly impresses with its scale and architecture. A lot of exhibits have been collected . I recommend visiting the palace and immerse yourself in the era, it's worth it.

Personally, I really enjoyed the walk, with a sequential visit to all the museums, including the palace. Inside the palace there is a modern restoration, there are interesting interiors and exhibits. We took an audio guide, it's convenient. But in my opinion, a careful inspection from the outside is quite enough. Drinking coffee and having a snack in winter did not work anywhere - neither in the palace nor in the park, they did not see kavyaren. The museum has a fairly clean toilet, and there is also a WC in the park. The nearest parking is 300 meters away, the train station is a couple of kilometers away.

It's really worth a trip there. The guides are very pleasant and explain it in an interesting way. There is a very interesting story behind this palace, which they will tell you there. The arrangement in the courtyard is simply wonderful, but it is a pity that little has been preserved since those times. On the second floor there is an exhibition with the history of Belarus, where there are all sorts of archaeological things (even a mammoth tooth!). In short, I definitely recommend it

I really liked the Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace. Vadim, a young and talented tour guide, conducted an amazing tour of the palace. An excellent restoration of the palace destroyed in the war has been carried out. While in Gomel, you definitely need to visit this palace.

It was supposed to be a visit with children of eight years old, so obviously an excursion adapted for children's perception was immediately discussed. They recommended it to us on the phone, and we agreed. In fact, these are dry historical excerpts, dynasties, and surnames. From the guide, a young man who has probably forgotten what it's like to be an eight-year-old: "Aren't you interested in children? "be patient until the end." There are rooms where it was possible to restore the ceiling finish from the photo, but for some reason they went the easy way and "restored" very far from the original...Why rush it....there is a beautiful view from the observation Tower, but it is better to come to it in advance and in the morning, it is not so hot and there will be no queue (4-5 people are launched in half an hour)

It's worth a visit. Especially with an excursion - but you need to fit in in advance, in the summer it takes up to two weeks. The groups are small. There is an audio guide, which is also interesting, but the guide tells more than the other. With the audio guide, then we went again in quiet mode already. And the guide did not take us to the tower, only the lower floors. There is a conference room, which is used exactly like this now, there is a gallery of portraits of honored natives of this land. Their number and biographies are impressive. Even just for the sake of this hall, it would be worth going. But the palace itself is beautiful (we are residents of St. Petersburg, we have seen a lot, there is something to compare it with). If you are not looking for special artifacts and original things (there are few of them here), it is worth going for the sake of getting to know the history of the families that greatly influenced the local places, and aesthetic pleasure.
