Three with a minus ....
The impression of this hotel is twofold, there are pros and cons, the main plus is the proximity of the sea. The beach is medium and small pebbles, there are not many people, sun beds and umbrellas are paid. The room is sufficient for a family of 3 people (2 adults + a child of 7 years old), the ceilings are high, the view is gorgeous from the window (although not on the sea), the mountains and nature are beautiful in their own way. In principle, the room has everything you need, a refrigerator, a kettle is available, a hairdryer was given on request, bed linen and towels were cleaned and changed regularly, if you leave the keys at the reception, the air conditioner worked properly. Wi-fi in the hotel and on the beach opposite was catching well. Of the cons, they are not critical, but they spoiled the overall impression, although we are not very picky, we understood that it was 3*, but still... - torn tulle, a chipped mirror in the bathroom, water in the sink splashes in different directions because the mesh on the mixer is either torn or clogged with something, the towel holder is hanging on one nail, it's about to fall off, the bathroom door closes if you lift and press, black mold in the shower tray, the water supply hose to the toilet leaked, the mattress is old, washed out and there was not enough lighting in the evening in the form of a wall sconce or night light... About food – we only had breakfast, good porridges, hearty, fried eggs, tea or coffee drinks 3 in 1, a couple of times we were given non-edible pancakes with cottage cheese and sausage. Breakfast at the hotel is convenient, especially since they turned out to be quite hearty, and I had a snack at the sea before lunch. The location of the hotel is closer to new Gagra, to the Ferris wheel and the embankment it takes 10-20 minutes to walk at a calm pace, old Gagra and its main attractions are 5 km from this hotel, there is public transport and taxis, walking is also real.

We had a rest this year at the Ruslan hotel. The hotel itself is not bad , clean, tasty food , the administrator Elona is very pleasant , worries about everyone as for herself , thanks to her 4-star review. What can not be said about the second administrator, who only with her expression can spoil the whole mood for the whole day, and if she also opens her mouth, then the mood is spoiled for the whole rest..... Why work in such a place if you just don't like people that you show with all your appearance how you don't like them.... In general, we will not come to this hotel anymore just because of her

My favorite hotel in Gagra, on line 1, is warm and homely. Green well-groomed territory, gazebos. There is an elevator - it is convenient to go up to the upper floors with a suitcase and shopping.
A delicious cafe and a great location in the city center (on foot to the park, Gagripsh and in the other direction to the Ferris wheel - 15 minutes each). The neighborhood with the house of culture - there are performances for adults and children, it is convenient.
Parking for cars, offers for excursions (necessarily Athos and Ritsa). Infrastructure: near a pharmacy, shops, cafes, children's entertainment.
Sun beds on the beach, rooms and terraces with sea and mountain views. For the price, the quality is the ideal ratio for a 3* hotel.
The lights are periodically turned off in the city - the generator turns on in the hotel. Water heaters keep the water temperature.
