After such reviews, you begin to seriously doubt the quality of education at this university. I had the opportunity to work at the RAU for more than one year. Under the former rector A.R.Darbinyan, there were pros and cons. But this is a separate topic. Under the current rector, the university's level has dropped significantly and continues to fall rapidly. I don't know what displeased Edward Mvrtinovich with the outstanding scientists and excellent teachers from the institutes of physics and mathematics, but the departure of these people from the RAU made this university a cut above what it was before. Essentially. For those who can score enough points to enroll in sought-after specialties and know English well, I would advise you to apply to an American university today. The quality of education at this university has always been as high as possible. Over the past few years, this university has been growing rapidly in all indicators: scientific activity, international cooperation, and its relevance among applicants. If you can't get into an American university, go to YSU. Over the past two years, this university has also made a powerful leap forward. The quality of teaching at YSU has always been high, and now the university is closely monitoring this. Specifically, by specialty. Mathematics, physics, biomedicine and pharmacy, and law remained in the RAU. If you want to study foreign languages, including the languages of the global South, it is better to enroll in a Linguistic University (Bryusov). I strongly recommend not studying at RAU in such specialties as psychology, World history and foreign regional studies, management, advertising, political science. In short, the whole range of humanities and social sciences is absolutely not recommended! Profanity in these departments and areas is simply off the charts. Teachers often have nothing to do with the subjects they lecture on. The most significant example in this regard is the departments of World History and Psychology. The same is true with the Institute of Economics. What can you learn from the same Sandoyan? Please everyone? Things are a little better with the well-publicized Oriental Institute, where you can get good at Farsi and everything related to Iran. If Iranian studies is your thing, then this is the place for you. Definitely, those who want to study philology and the Russian language seriously cannot do without RAU. At least as long as Karen Hakobyan is working there (according to rumors, they want to leave him too). In general, if you want to get a good education and be in demand by specialists upon graduation, RAU is most likely not the address you need. It's another matter if you want to get pumped up and learn how to swim in the pool. RAU is very famous for its gym and swimming pool. I have expressed my personal opinion here.
