My father had an emergency - blood in his urine,he was delivered to this hospital by an ambulance. After 6 hours of being kept at the admissions department my father was sent back home. The extract of his medical history said that there was no blood in his urine, he had no pains and his state of health improved during those 6 hours... I read it only at home and I thought: " Did the doctor make a mistake? He obviously saw blood". During those 6 hours my father had ECG, a CT-scan and they took urine and blood for tests. 6 hours.
The outcome: they made two wounds on his arm while taking his blood: the area around one wound turned black (blood) and another one is still open and bleeding - 4 days later... Unbelievable.

I have been suffering from arthritis in both of my big toes for many years. Surgeon Vadim Valerievich Nazhestkin from a local policlinic arranged a consultation with Sargon Konstantinovich Tamoev, Head of the 4th traumatology and orthopedic department, Yudina hospital, in 2022. Sargon Konstantinovich speaks very good English, during the consultation he examined the x-rays and advised that there was a new treatment for my condition. This new treatment would provide full mobility of my toes as opposed to the procedure performed in the UK where the big toe joint is fixed (fusion) and that joint then becomes immobile for the rest of patient’s life (causing impaired walking). This new treatment involved removing the worn-out cartilage and replacing it with an implant to act as a brand-new joint. The implant was developed by traumatologist-orthopedist surgeon Vladimir Vladimirovich Skrebtsov.
In April 2022 I had my first big toe surgery on my right foot. Prior to which, I had to undergo thorough tests before the surgery (such as blood test, urine test, chest x-ray, ultra sound of veins etc, after which the GP decided that I was fit for the operation). All these tests I did at the local policlinic.
The check-in to hospital was easy and the room was very nice and ready to receive patients. The surgery took about 40 minutes and I was taken back to the room to recover. I spent 3-4 days in the hospital before being released for home recovery and was told to exercise my toe several times a day. Two weeks after the surgery I returned to have the stitches removed and my foot was checked. During the two weeks after the surgery I had to wear special shoes (Baruki), which are designed to eliminate any pressure/movement on the operated area. After the stitches were removed Sargon Konstantinovich advised that I can start wearing normal shoes. It was incredible that within 2 weeks after the operation my right foot has regained full mobility and I no longer had any pain in the joint.
Sargon Konstantinovich on top of his busy schedule still found time to keep in touch during the recovery period at home by enquiring on my wellbeing through Whatsapp and I was invited for a follow up appointment 6 month and then 12 months after the operation to monitor the recovery period. By February 2023 my big toe in my left foot started to give me pain and another surgery was recommended. During the operation it was discovered that my toe had been broken many years ago and the bones had healed up at a wrong angle/position. During this second surgery Sargon Konstantinovich repositioned the bones into correct position and installed a metal pin to assist the recovery. The decision to replace the joint in my left big toe with an implant was postponed until full recovery of bone correction/repositioning was achieved.
In December 2024 I had the final surgery on my left big toe at which time the metal pin was removed and an implant placed where the joint was worn out. Again, everything went according to plan with excellent results.
I have been admitted into the 4th traumatology and orthopedic department of Yudina Hospital on three occasions, and each time I have found the treatment and professionalism of staff to be first class. From the surgeons to anesthetists and nurses everything was done efficiently and in a friendly manner. I would like to mention, perhaps the less skillful but equally important team members - the cleaners - who keep the hospital immaculately clean. The hospital team works as one creating the much needed positive and friendly atmosphere for recovery of the patients.
I would especially like to thank surgeon Sargon Konstantinovich Tamoev who have taken so much care and trouble to return my damaged feet, due to arthritis, back to full mobility. Your dedication to your chosen profession is amazing, you are a True Doctor and I can’t thank you enough for the treatment you provided to me!

I was there today for an emergency because i had a miscarriage. I was 8 weeks pregnant. All is well when i enter, kind staff, clean environment until i was called by one lady staff where she take winter coats and keep it. I was about to be admitted to the room. She shouted on me in front of the others just because i don't understand her. I don't understand much of Russian but my phone was ready and on call with my husband so he can translate. He is a Russian national. Unfortunately this lady kept shouting and doesn't want to speak to my husband on phone. I was bleeding heavily there, in pain and knowing my baby lost, i am emotionally broken. I felt embarrassed of course. Please you are aware that you are working on the medical field. Please be professional. The patients come to you with different pains and sufferings, be sensitive with your actions. Im a nurse by profession and never in my life i shouted and embarrassed my patients. My husband was upset as well so i left the hospital against medical advise and went to another.
