It is known that Georgia is famous for its hospitality and delicious food. Therefore, there are a lot of places in Tbilisi where you can eat. But, as it turned out, it's not delicious everywhere, and most importantly, without cheating.
It is a pity that the Saamo cafe did not immediately get in our way. That's where everything is really sooo delicious and honest (there are no hidden tips and VAT of unknown sizes).
Entering the Saamo cafe, you get not just into a catering establishment, but into the world of art. The walls are decorated with excellent paintings, and an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility reigns around.
We've been to the cafe three times and the food is always excellent. We ordered chashushuli with veal and apple strudel twice and tried khinkali soup once. As the saying goes: "Food is smart," everything is so delicious.

Deliciously delicious food at pleasant prices, polite and pleasant waiters and a great view from the terrace! We've been walking for the umpteenth time. Khinkali, Georgian salad, khachapuri - dump everything! Kindzmarauli is homemade and extremely pleasant here, I definitely recommend it. The portions are such that you won't leave hungry even after the salad)) These are the most delicious +2kg in my life 😁

We stopped by this restaurant on a Sunday evening in November. That's probably why there were almost no people, it was quiet and peaceful. A very tasty plate with Georgian snacks and veal kebab is beyond praise. We didn't taste the wine, but people at the next table praised it. A building is being built nearby, which will partially block the beautiful view from the terrace to the temple, but let this not interfere with the success of this cozy restaurant!

Dear travelers, if you visit this restaurant, you will not regret it, it is delicious, affordable and pleasant atmosphere that immediately fills you with the feeling that you are in Georgia. We tried almost everything there: ojakhuri, eggplant with suluguni, khachapuri (we took a set), shish kebab, khinkali and, of course, real Kakhetian wine, white and red. And what kind of waiter is there..., David is just a storehouse for visitors, he told us a lot about Georgian cuisine, joked, and, among other things, that's why we returned to this wonderful institution before leaving, Unfortunately, it was cool and we could only look at the open verandas, except for the courtyard outside there is also a veranda on the 2nd floor, a large banquet hall and a roof terrace, be sure not only to look there, but also to taste everything, I am sure that you will get a divine gastronomic pleasure. Be careful, the portions are very large))) I give 5 points for everything ❤

Our acquaintance with this lovely restaurant was on the very last evening in Tbilisi! We lived very close by, at the Light House Old City Hotel, after a busy third day of excursions in Georgia, we decided to see something closer to home and ended up here, we didn't regret it. We have never been received in Tbilisi so warmly and deliciously. I want to draw attention to the huge portions (special thanks to the owner of the establishment, who immediately warned us about this in a humorous way). The table was stunningly delicious (chkmeruli, khachapuri, salad), very attentive attitude, and also treated to a glass of homemade wine as a sign of traditional Georgian hospitality) When we saw the bill, we were pleasantly surprised, 106 GEL for two with wine. We will definitely come back when we are back in Tbilisi!

We were a big company 4 times, as the food is delicious (although it is served at different times, which is not uncommon in Georgia and in other establishments). We were terribly disappointed last night. We ordered white wine, which was ordered before. But this time it was impossible to drink it. The waitress agreed that something was wrong with the wine, said that it was a new delivery and offered to try red. We liked it and ordered 6 glasses. As a result, the bill included: 2 glasses of white, which was impossible to drink, and those two glasses that were brought to us at the bottom for tasting. We didn't quarrel, we paid for everything, but we won't go any more and we don't advise anyone. If you go, check the account carefully.

We came to this restaurant based on a good review, as a result, the most tasteless meal in Georgia. We took khinkali (veal, pork, 5 pcs - 10lari) and khachapuri in Megrelian (18 lari). Khinkali tastes like our store-bought dumplings, and khachapuri has very little cheese, dry, mostly dough. It was not oiled on top, as is usually done.
Maybe different chefs work in different shifts, but in the end we left upset

The presence of a terrace and a beautiful view from it. It's delicious for food and drinks. In portions, they do not offend) in general, a pleasant impression and on the next visit to Tbilisi, we would most likely look again. Of the minuses, a very tired waiter (our visit was in the diet at 9 pm) had to repeat the order 3 times / clarify. They did not warn about the closure of the kitchen, so they were left without dessert.

They speak Russian, they can recommend dishes.
Fast, sooooo DELICIOUS, the menu is varied, the prices are average.
The trout was wonderful, the dessert was great.

A cozy restaurant in Avlabari. Somewhat away from the pretentious center. Delicious national cuisine and homemade wine.
You can sit in the hall, outside or on the veranda overlooking the surrounding area. Prices are slightly lower than in the center.

The food is not delicious, the prices are high. We went to this restaurant every year, but this year it was the last time. The kebab is dry, bland. I didn't like the soups either. The staff is good, otherwise there are no advantages.

It's terrible !!!
Yesterday we visited this place.
Firstly, waiting for dishes for an hour and a half. Although there are only 5-6 tables in the establishment (the upper floor does not work).
The dishes are not delicious . The wine is terrible.
The child was poisoned by your burger. We ate at your place last night, today the child woke up with abdominal pain , nausea, diarrhea and fever.

We are extremely upset and disappointed with the proposed food made from stale products! The trout had a characteristic stale smell and taste, caesar is served from a leafy salad, which in places has already been soaked in slush. After that, the next day there was a terrible fever, diarrhea with all the consequences.
But I can't help but note the beautiful view of the mountains from the terrace, the Georgian salad and beer. They are very good

The food is terrible, the service is too, the portions are small, the view is good. There was almost no meat in the Megrelian kharcho and it was mostly fat, ojahuri (homemade potatoes) were brought cold, eggplants were not bad, the prices for such food were huge. They left hungry. THE WATER DRAIN DOES NOT WORK IN THE MEN'S TOILET! You will find out about it when it 's too late ! I don't understand how this cafe still works and for whom it is designed.

I give 2 stars because everything was expensive and tasteless. We ordered caesar, it costs about 22 lari, by Georgian standards a very small portion and the salad itself is so-so. Next, we took khachapuri on a spit - absolutely dry and tasteless. (55lari 2 dishes + drinks came out here)
