Very convenient location: close to cafes, shops and all the sights in 5-30 minutes walking distance: Egyptian Bazaar, Grand Bazaar, Church of One Day, Blue Mosque, etc. There is a bus depot nearby (10 minutes). I wasn't looking for a subway. I can't tell you.
Nuance: taxis do not reach the hotel itself. They are dropped off on the next street. A feature of the road traffic.
The hotel itself is very beautiful inside, from the outside if you don't know what it is, you will pass by😅
It is convenient to pay, including on the spot in cash. We booked at the airport upon arrival in Istanbul. There is an exchange office nearby (although with a large commission). It will be more profitable to change in any bank, there are also a lot of them here. Just walk a little bit.
The staff is very friendly. The button on the elevator is pressed. We made an agreement with the cleaner . One day they asked not to clean up, but they changed the towels and water. They generally understand Russian. English is excellent.
The rooms are not tired. It is clear that repairs were made not yesterday, but not a hundred years ago either. Towels are normal. The water goes well. They offer a "bath set". Cleaning every day. Additionally, if they are still in the room at lunch, they will knock with a proposal to update tea, coffee and sugar. In principle, the rooms and the hotel correspond to the photos on the booking and the website.
There is a restaurant on the 7th floor. With a high rating. And really a very good restaurant with a view and delicious cuisine. The hall is full even in February. The price tag is above the average in Istanbul.
Buffet breakfasts are also served here. Delicious. A good enough choice. Practically unchanged from day to day. There were few fruits. I was surprised, because the shops are full of them.
Seagulls are flying outside the window. You can safely open the window or ask the staff to feed them. Or just watch it.
Nuance: 30 minutes before the end of breakfast time, they are not kicked out, but they begin to clean up the hall. Since it opens as a restaurant at one o'clock in the afternoon.
It's not very pleasant. It's comfortable to go to breakfast at 9:30 a.m. - it's not early and you can sit quietly.
I recommend. Especially if you haven't been to Istanbul or the Fatih area.
