A small hotel in the old part of Istanbul, a five-minute walk to Sultanahmet Square, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and other attractions. The rooms are small, but clean and quite comfortable for a few nights in the city: two beds (or one large one), a bedside table, a table, a small refrigerator, no closet, just a couple of shelves and a rod with hangers in a niche. The water was hot all the time, soap, shampoo, slippers are available. Tomorrow is simple, but quite sufficient. The staff is friendly, they understand a little Russian, in which case you can explain yourself with the help of an online translator. By the way, the wifi worked well

I want to share the impressions that I received during my stay at the Serenity Hotel in Istanbul.
Initially, I chose another hotel near the center in the Sultanahmet area.
Upon arrival at Istanbul airport, a representative of the host company Fit holiday decided to please me, said that the hotel I chose, for a reason still unknown, could not accept me.He offered me the Serenity Hotel and convinced me that it was even better than the one I had chosen.
I had no choice, I agreed and looked first that it was really not far from the center. And I was also asked to sign a document that I voluntarily agreed to change the hotel.
When I was brought to the hotel from the outside, I realize that this is really a 4-storey barn.
And , accordingly , inside too .
I think the renovation at the hotel was done for the last time 40-50 years ago.
They offered a room on the ground floor, but really it is not the first but the basement.
We immediately settled in and immediately after the water treatments in the combined bathroom, water appeared on the floor , which did not leave but constantly arrived .Even if you don't use it.
When asked to resolve the issue, it was not clearly stated that a specialist might be called.
The specialist never came .The next day, he asked to be moved to another room. But it turned out to be a full hotel. They were relocated the next day.
About breakfast. It's terrible and meager. Only tea is hot.
My recommendation is not to choose this hotel for anyone. Unless, of course, you want to spoil your vacation .

A cozy hotel, within walking distance from the Sultanahmet and Hagia Sophia mosques. Our room was small, but we had everything we needed. Cleaning and change of bed linen/towels was daily. At the reception, we communicated through a translator on the phone, so there were no problems. I really liked the lobby of the hotel.
