The Chapaev Museum is located in a historic building that housed the Headquarters of the famous 25th Chapaev Division.
The territory is well maintained, but we couldn't get inside, it's a day off. Very sorry.
It's good that they're still keeping the story (whatever it is, it's just a story) those bloody events.
It was here that Vasily Ivanovich and his adjutant Pyotr Isakov, alias Petka, were on September 5, 1919, during the famous Lbishchensky raid of the White Guards, under the command of Major General Borodin.
This is a very famous historical event and perhaps one of the most significant victories for the whites in that war. As a result of the raid, Chapaev is killed. The sources of information about his death vary, as does the place of his burial.
So if you love history, then take the time to visit the museum.

Super impressions. It's a great museum for such a small district center. The entrance fee is 200 tenge. The panorama was impressive. Just like the Borodino panorama in Moscow..
