I really wanted to get into it, but it didn't work out. There are no guides and they are not expected. On Thursday evening, we arrived at the ticket office and were told that we need to arrive earlier. On Friday, they called to book a tour in advance and received the answer that there was no free space for four people and the nearest one was in two weeks .... there was a persistent impression of deception and disappointment.

We arrived 10 minutes before the opening, everything was open, went inside to find out the cost, and the employee at the entrance was rude. Dear management, teach your employees how to communicate with visitors and customers. If you are not working, close the doors, do not mislead tourists! And for employees in decent establishments there is a service entrance! After such a "service", there is no desire to visit this place. The castle did not impress outwardly.

Люблю старый замок больше, чем новый. Атмосфера, интерьеры... Смотровая площадка - это восторге!
Один раз были с экскурсией, очень понравилось, интересно. Хороший экскурсовод попался. Дважды была без экскурсии, но тем не менее впечатления не хуже однозначно!
На кассе общаются на беларускай мове, что придает антуража.
Выходные: пн.
Стоимость небольшая.

Очень понравилось,после реконструкции обширная программа,всем кому интересна история,тем кто увлекается советую .Вид со смотровой площадки шикарный,но, всё интересное в самом замке.Уверен,что со временем коллекция артефактов станет больше,так-как работы на территории ещё не окончены.А как обычно случается,интересные находки и необычные, имеют место показаться,во время тех же восстановительных работ.

Замок расположен в очень живописном месте, на Замковой горе на берегу Немана. Насладиться прекрасными видами можно со смотровой площадки, расположенной на верхних этажах замка. Внутри есть музей (работает с 10:00 до 18:00) и сувенирный магазин. Часть музейных экспозиций сопровождена современными электронными информационными стендами.

A beautiful place. The castle is located in the center of Grodno. From the height you can see the whole city, the Neman River flows below. Quiet, peaceful, cozy. The castle inside is a museum. There are many historical exhibits, interesting excursions.

We were in Grodno for 1 day, walking around the city. The city itself is beautiful, but the impression was spoiled by the aunt "cerberus" at the entrance to the castle - she did not let her with a children's folding scooter, where she could safely leave it, too, could not offer! She screamed like a cut, scared the child, terrible staff.

A disgusting organization. There is a queue at the checkout, one person works. The controller moves the queue as it is convenient for it. So as not to get in the way. He allows himself to touch the visitors, and in the end only us, the young girls, were moved, the rest just stood there and remained, apparently it's not so easy to move the men. I can't say anything about the museum. The desire to visit was discouraged.

Очень красивые строения замка. И сверху открываются шикарные виды на весь город. Немного скучновата экспозиция в музее. Практически все экспонаты — новодел. Но в целом интересно узнать историю РБ. Впечатления самые приятные после посещения.

The next day we drove by, but it was so hot (30 ° C) that we didn't want to go out into the sun. Besides, we were already on our way to another city.

We were at the castle for the May holidays. I was lucky with the weather. You can visit the castle at 11:45, inspect the expositions and by 11:58 climb up to the second platform to listen to the bugler on the fire tower and the view of the city is excellent.

We were in Grodno in October.To be honest, I was not impressed, neither the city nor the old castle, but the new one looks like a Soviet regional executive committee.There is 1 tower and a tiny part of the wall left of the old castle. But it is being restored.But the Catholic church is something amazing! He's been active all his life, never shut down.

Старый замок в Гродно. Старый, потому что рядом есть Новый замок. Старый замок впервые упоминается в конце 10 века. Расположен на крутом живописном холме подле реки Неман.
Он многократно разрушался и перестраивался. До наших дней сохранились дворец, фрагменты оборонительных стен, руины Нижней и Верхней церквей, княжеских палат, мост и замчище. Ныне там живет Гродненский государственный историко-археологический музей.
Из экспозиции запомнилась баня с интересным потолком и помещения церкви с симпатичными витражами.
В замке есть смотровая площадка, с которой открывается наилучший вид на окрестности.
