Yesterday I returned from a trip, stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. This is not a 4*, and it was not nearby, when compared with hotels on the coast of Antalya and Bodrum. These are ordinary 3* with tired rooms, railings, elevator, etc. I didn't take breakfast, but one day I woke up from the smell of burning - something burned in the kitchen and pulled terribly all the way to the 3rd floor, poor guests:(Speaking of the guests, I didn't see them, maybe 2-3 rooms were occupied in the hotel, except mine, but this is just a guess. I haven't seen anyone in the hotel for 4 days of my stay. At the same time, Turkish and English-speaking employees are trying to cut down at least some money on literally everything: tea and coffee 2 euros, surcharge for a room with a balcony - 15 euros / night, late check-out (2 hours later 12-00) - be kind to pay extra. I really didn't like it, some kind of goonishness with a completely empty hotel:( There is a terrace with a view of some local mosque and the Sea of Marmara, but it is open and it is very windy there in the off-season. There are many hotels near closed territories, the price tag in the area differs in hotels by 20-30%, you can even find cheaper and better. I went to the terrace in the morning to drink coffee (I did it in advance in the room and poured boiling water at the reception) and smoked, there is no question of breakfast there in November. Now the numbers: they are not bad, but very tired, it is noticeable everywhere. I took a room of 20 m2 without a balcony, it's basically not bad. But everywhere you can see the roughness and plaque of long use (laminate flooring has failed in places, towels are clean, but already washed thoroughly, the toilet is clean, but with a plaque in the depth, the mattress is large, but you roll down, since it has been lying more on one side, etc.). In addition, the area rolls down to the shore with very steep streets at an angle of 30-45 degrees and it is very difficult to walk uphill there for the unprepared to the tram and the main attractions. Conclusion - you can stay, but another time I will choose a hotel in Laleli, or in Taksim. The price will not be much more expensive, but in terms of comfort, probably yes. And there is no problem to get to Sultanahmet, the price of the issue is 15-30 liras by public transport. I was not impressed in the end, even despite the terrace overlooking the local mosque and the Sea of Marmara (not to be confused with the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus, this is not about this hotel!)

We had a rest with my husband from October 6 to October 10 , 2023 .
A beautiful hotel, clean room, not smelly, plumbing is working properly, it is clear that the hotel is being taken care of and defects are corrected in a timely manner if they arise. We didn't have any problems.
The hotel is not big, but there is an elevator. Excellent location, all the most famous sights are 3-5 minutes on foot and at the same time quiet at night, slept like the dead.
I definitely recommend it

I recommend you to stay. Great location from the center, quiet. The numbers match the photos. The breakfast is good. In the warmer months, breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Bosphorus!!! The view is mesmerizing.

the employees and the administrator are very responsive and kind. they speak Russian. they will always help. but the numbers themselves are very beat up. the handle on the bathroom door fell off. the toilet was leaking. the threshold to the bathroom fell off altogether. the bed linen is all in pellets and stains that can no longer be washed.

Yes, this is Istanbul, with its sights. But a little step off the packed path and you get into the slums of the bazaar, dirt and garbage everywhere, poprashayki and other color.
Maybe someone lacks this....

A lovely hotel, near the center of Sultanahmet, but quiet and the seagulls are singing. There is a terrace on the roof and a wonderful view, the staff is wonderful.

We were in March. Not bad. Minus the monotonous breakfast and the TV and refrigerator did not work in the room. There are no water glasses.

Everything is cool. But at 4 a.m., a prayer is read loudly from the mosque opposite, but I think it's in any area of Istanbul
