The Lavra is simply impressive in its beauty - an ideally chosen place ( a river below , mountainous terrain above ) , beautiful temples . The monument to Artyom, majestic and grandiose on the mountain, fits perfectly into the area. When I visited these places, I visited Artyom's observation deck, saw monuments to Soviet soldiers who fell during the liberation of the city, and unfortunately, history repeats itself and there is war in these places again and people are dying again.
