This is definitely an airport that doesn’t befit a country like Uzbekistan. It feels like a low-traffic airport in a medium-sized, ordinary city. It’s an old building and far from modern. Of course, I’m not comparing it to Istanbul Airport, but I think it could have been better. Lounges are available, but they won’t let you in, and they’re very expensive. I couldn’t understand this. If you’re thinking, “I’ll go early and use the lounge,” be prepared for this unpleasant surprise. This is an airport that absolutely needs a much more professional operation. Inside, everything is quite expensive—food, drinks, and duty-free products. The duty-free section is also extremely inadequate. The worst part is that the gate numbers are very hard to read. Also, the smoking room is terrible—it’s like a prison cell. I wish it were in an open area. In conclusion, this is not an airport where you’ll want to spend much time. If you’re considering long transfers, avoid choosing this airport.

A very organized small airport, however it handels a huge number of passengers. Most of the airport staff are professionals and they don't hesitate to help when someone asks. Please remember to keep Tashkent clean. Best regards.

Now Tashkent international airport has been changed into lovely place. There are waiting sections and picking up and dropping down roads. “The check-in processes have been significantly expedited.”

I've been here 3 times , each time they are showing significant improvement , i time there was no proper area to rest wait and it was disorganized. Now for my very recent visit things seem to be improving alot

Overall, it's not bad. But it could be much, much better. Don't expect passenger boarding bridge to the plane. Instead, it's an old-school transfer from the plane to the terminal via bus ))

The airport looks and feels good. Ample shops for purchasing souvenirs and food. But had the worst experience in terms of checking in and boarding. The guy at the check in counter was constantly yawning and took more than 10 mins to give us the ticket. The boarding is experience was just horrible in one word. Initially they told us it is 5 B gate. At that gate there is no display board.looks like a cattle class area without any information display. The Uzbekistan airways ground staff looked absolutely clueless and when we asked for information they didn't give anything. They in fact locked the common door leading to other gates for which many travellers faced issues. All this is happening without anyone giving us any proper information. Then suddenly one of the ground staff casually tells us go to 7B and again we all rush there. There is a staircase leading to the bottom boarding area where again no guidance was there. We kind of kept moving just by our gut feeling and no ground staff was there to assist. Then suddenly they said we need to wait 15-20 mins before we can board. The 8:45 am flight timing was changed, it's 9:28 am right now we are sitting in the runway still. That is not the end of this absolutely unprofessional behaviour, at boarding they suddenly scratched out out original seat numbers and scribbled something new. I had opted for a window seat and when I got on the flight we got to know we have been given seats in middle aisle. When I raised this with the airhostess she said she can't help and she doesn't know. I told her I won't be changing my seats and will sit as per original assigned seats. Then they got another security personnel who looked at our tickets and said okay. Then again some other airhostess came and said these seats belongs to someone else. When we refused to move they relented. But we got to know this change of seats without any consent happened to many Indian passengers only. Local folks were impacted. Very very unprofessional behavior and the worst ever flight boarding experience. No process , no proper information, no proper treatment to passengers. While waiting for 15 mins we all sat down on the stairs or ground as there was no seats in the waiting area.

Small airport. Getting internet is a challenge once arrived. Other wise it's all good..get a roaming sim form your country before arrival. Use Yandex taxi

Worst airpot, always flights get delayed here for minmum 2-3 hours and it took maximum 6 hours delayed in my flight from Delhi to Moscow
