Suddenly. I read on the Internet that there are only ruins there, but I found a restored citadel. Yes, it's newly built, but it's attached to the old ruins. It is very photogenic and shows a love of history. Yes, we haven't finished everything yet, and the exposition in the museums is still small, but we can see the diligence and love of history. It is necessary to take a guide, it is not expensive and worth it! We were guided by an energetic and interested student. It was possible to discuss the issues of interest to us, thanks to him for that. They speak both Russian and English too
Keep in mind that the museum is open until about 19h and come in advance.

The "ancient city" in a modern way. A very poor and unremarkable museum, the most interesting thing is an interactive screen with a story about the object. But! There is not a single illustration in the stories explaining what it is about.
There is no chronological exposition, everything is fragmentary and unscientific. The walls are already crumbling, the paths are falling through - a new building in a hurry. In general, it's a good idea, but the organization and implementation are unsatisfactory. Of the advantages - inexpensive, beautiful view of the city and very sparsely populated)
