A very nice place. 5-7 minutes walk from the metro at a calm pace, right next to Gorky Park. We were at the Corporate performance. I really liked it. It was funny, the actors were great, 2 hours flew by unnoticed. There weren't many people. There is also a buffet, but the prices are expensive. But on the ground floor there is a cafe "Zharynka", there is very tasty food and at reasonable prices. Plus, in the summer there is an outdoor courtyard with a small pond and a gazebo inside. It is not hot, because inside the building there is also fresh air. I highly recommend it.

We were at the New Year's performance of The Nutcracker. I liked the atmosphere, the actors played well, you completely immerse yourself in a fairy tale, pleasant music. One of the disadvantages is the interior from the distant past, a long queue in the wardrobe.

The theater hall is small, "stone" in general left pleasant emotions. We took tickets to a performance called "Corporate Party". But the performance left, not the most positive emotions, even unpleasant impressions back. The whole performance revolves around talking about alcohol and cheating on wives and husbands. The game has 5 actors, 4 of them are men and one woman is a cleaner. The plot is that men are preparing a surprise on March 8 for female employees, and all the preparation is drinking alcoholic beverages and talking about how the characters cheat on their wives, and all this is accompanied by unpleasant and even offensive statements about women. And this is throughout the plot.... I do not recommend watching it!

It's cold in the building, all the performances were freezing.The performance itself was wonderful, exciting and at the same time funny at times, the performance was a gorgeous wedding. We were at the Trolls performance in 2022, in the hall of Kholodin, after the first act we went to the wardrobe for jackets...They were sitting in them. They got sick after the performance. In 2023, we were on the Nutcracker, we liked it normally. In the wardrobe before the performance, everyone immediately announced that it was cold in the hall and they could not take their clothes. Naturally, we were wearing jackets again. It was much colder in the hall than in the previous year))) and the child got sick again. It's really cold out there! I want to go to the Dwarf Nose in November....I think we won't go! You need to go there only in summer!!!

I go into the writer's house, go to the wardrobe, a woman immediately meets me there and says go in a jacket, it's cold in the hall, I go to the toilet, there is no water. In the foyer, even if the paintings were hung, everyone is standing and waiting, a cafe opened, rushed there, it's generally empty. We went into the hall, the performance began 7 minutes late, the scenery was terrible, and the performance "a man as a gift" was terrible, it completely sucks. I'm sorry, but I've never been anywhere worse.

On 01/25/2024 we went to the play "A gorgeous wedding", we liked the production very much. Great comedy, great acting, one percent of the time.
From the recommendations: in winter, do not hand over jackets to the wardrobe, it is quite cool in the hall. Tickets can be bought for side seats, for some reason they are better visible than from the middle ones.

I was at the play with a child. The location is very good near the Gorky Children's Park. The interior is in the style of a la USSR. Everything looks massive and heavy. The most unpleasant thing is the temperature inside the room, it is only a couple of degrees higher than outside. The siphon is coming from the windows with terrible force. The batteries are poorly heated. I wanted to buy something for the child at the buffet, cards do not accept only cash.

Yes, there was a very cozy auditorium at one performance, the atmosphere is super, the actors are wonderful, I liked everything very much, thank you very much to all of you. BUT THE BUFFET IS NOT REASONABLY EXPENSIVE AND THIS IS A VERY BIG MINUS. A 0.5 cola costs like 2 liters in a corner store .

Excellent production, very vital, good acting. It was very nice to watch.
During the break, they wanted to drink coffee, they were first in line, they paid for coffee, but they had 3 cups of coffee, they received only 1, there was some kind of malfunction with the coffee machine.
We waited a long time for a refund to be made...
eventually we took another drink.
Because of this situation, the service was long and the people who were after us were very indignant.
I would like the employees and managers of the theater to pay attention to this situation.
And overall, a good impression of the evening.

We went to the play, you idiot. January 27.The acting is great. The hall is cozy. The first section was boring, it was possible to fall asleep. We had a little fun in the second section. But the impressions remained twofold. As for the staff. The cashier was a young guy who was not friendly and slightly aggressive. In the cafe, we were not refilled to the norm, as it turned out later about 10 ml of cognac, and it is not cheap. Drained from several bottles, it is not clear what. The bartender had to do the whole procedure in front of the customer so that the customer could see what was being poured and how much. As a result, the customer saw only the back of the bartender. And the last remark, it was very cold, we were sitting in a coat.

We watched "The Nutcracker", we really liked it!
1. Good staging, excellent balance between dialogues and action with the addition of songs and dance numbers, the director's work is at a high level!
2. The actors' game. Actors of different ages are involved in the production and everything is kept at a good level. Speech is loud and clear, facial expressions and gestures are perfectly readable.
3. I will separately note the work with sound and light. It is very wonderful that the actors play and sing to the plus (they went to the former theater "Muses of Comedy" the sound was disgusting, and when they started singing into headsets ... I just withstood this torture) The lighting designer has made the most of what is hanging in the hall.
We visited 3 productions in December in different theaters - this is the best!!!
P. S. We are not relatives or acquaintances. We just really liked the production.
I would pay attention to this theater and give them money for repairs and equipment) The guys are very decent!)

Unexpectedly well, you don't expect anything outstanding from a small scene in a writer's house, however...
I can say that the production I went to was quite difficult to stage, and indeed, the production itself was very simplified and the meaning was not fully revealed. But how hard the actors tried, all of them were great. Even in the bolshoi theater or abroad, I have not seen such a return from the actors, but here, the actors are beyond praise, great.
Yes, the production itself was clearly not up to the level, I think 7 out of 10 is a good score.
If you choose a simpler piece, you can count on a very high level of 9 out of 10, or even 10/10.

We watched the comedy "Stupid", the actors played incomparably :) a lot of talent! And the direction is very , very good ! The play , unfortunately , in my opinion from a previous life , a lot of things are no longer funny in any way , and not funny , stupid , or something . Yes , and the theater was without heating , they were sitting in outerwear . At the same time, the artists were almost in a negligee . Therefore, it is not clear whether to admire or be upset :) in general, the acting destroyed all the disadvantages ! But we take off 1 star for the cold in the hall and the "stupidity" of the plot.

I was at the performance on February 10, 2024. It was fine in the hall itself, but it was very cold in the corridors. The performance is excellent. Minus for the cold. Great theater. I went with my sister the other day to the production of "Gorgeous Wedding". We played with a bang, well done. The place is snowy but cozy and quiet.
