I liked the hotel. We rested twice.in different years. The main advantage is the location. The sea is right across the road. A quiet place between the new and old Gagra. There is a place to buy something, a couple of cafes, but there is no fuss.Nice beach. There is entertainment, but there are not as many people as in novaya Gagra and not many motorcycles and all sorts of boats. You can rest in peace. The price is adequate.the average price tag.the rooms have everything-air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, kettle, glasses, plates, bathrobes, slippers, soap accessories and more. The rooms are a little outdated, but if you really find fault, they are very nice and clean. The hotel has a generator -this is a godsend for Abkhazia. While everyone is sitting without light, you have light and water. It should be noted that the owners do not save money and turn it on constantly during power outages. This year, there was no light anywhere in Abkhazia for one day - the generator was working all the time, although it was expensive. Thank you very much for that.What they wrote in the reviews about cleaning is that there is no cleaning. Not true. It is stated that cleaning is on demand, at least every day. You just have to talk. We asked for cleaning every other day, there were no dissatisfied faces. They cleaned well. We changed towels both for such and for the beach. They claim that they change the bed every 5 days. We were changed more often. Just read the conditions when checking in. And if you need to clean, ask, they always do everything. We also asked for an additional laundry dryer in the room - they brought it to us.A very good maid, and she never refused. The rooms near the reception are noisy, keep this in mind. When there are a lot of people, it's noisy and makes it difficult to sleep. The rooms further away are wonderful. There are rooms with sea views. Good staff at the reception. They do not climb up to you, do not supervise, do not interfere with your rest. But at the same time, all issues were resolved instantly. They do their job. The dining room downstairs is nice. The food is delicious. However, it is worth noting that this year the portions have become smaller and the prices are higher. The average price tag and not a very large selection. If you eat constantly, then the assortment gets boring quickly.I hope after seeing the comment, they will still work on all this. But you eat delicious and you know that you won't get poisoned. Thank you for a wonderful stay! The hotel is located in a gorgeous location! A great beach across the street, there is everything you need nearby! The room was a junior suite, everything you need is there, the bed is clean, soft, comfortable. The sofa is great, new. The room is in excellent condition. The innkeeper himself is always nearby. They will always help at the reception, prompt you, and call a taxi. Everything is quiet, calm and unobtrusive. There is a barbecue in a very beautiful area. The washing machine is in the utility block..For free! Room cleaning on demand, linen change for the 5th day, but you can ask earlier. In short, we had a great rest for 10 days. In early June we visited Abkhazia, and we had a great rest in this hotel! Great location, the sea is nearby. There are a lot of greenery, flowers, palm trees and eucalyptus trees around! We arrived very late at night. Not many responded... Very lucky. We lived in two rooms. One for 8, the other for 4. Great rooms. Everything is there. Clean, working. The admin girls are very cool. The cleaning is certainly not ideal for renting a room, but I'm still that clean. Anyway, I still cleaned it myself. Well, handing over one room, we moved to another, and we forgot a lot of things in the refrigerator, but it's a pity the blocks from the thermos bag. The cleaner, knowing that we were in another room, somehow did not ask and threw it away (probably)... But the location of the hotel, the courtyard, the atmosphere left the best emotions... We are currently resting in this hotel. The rooms are modest, but in principle you don't need more to relax. There is soap, shampoo, toilet paper, towels, ironing board with iron on each floor, laundry room on the ground floor (free of charge). If the maid did not report something, you can always ask at the reception. The admin girls are smart, very polite. I would especially like to mention Olga. I'm glad we got here. Our arrival turned out to be accidental at this hotel and apparently it was so necessary for the universe. We went to another place, but what we saw there shocked us (although the photos were completely different). We urgently started looking for a place to stay, the mood is at zero, of course we settled our thoughts on why we came here at all. But there turned out to be one room with a beautiful view of the Pacific Don Sea and we stayed in Gagra (although we were already thinking of returning to Sochi). In general, the staff of this hotel somehow smoothed out our first impression of Abkhazia, but anyway we will not return there yet, since the service, landscaping, infrastructure in the city itself wants the best. It probably takes another decade to bring the city into disrepair

My honest review of the Quiet Don Hotel .
In general, I do not advise! If you want to ruin a night or even a whole vacation , then take it .
No hot water ! Because their boller broke down . There is a plus this is a sea view . The smell is disgusting ! there is mold on the tile in the bathroom in many places, general cleaning is necessary, with the replacement of obsolete furniture and beds. I booked a room with one big bed , I was moved into a room with two small beds that were terribly creaky , after I informed the administration about it , they told me ( well , you 're the one settling in ) with a hint that the bed is more necessary for a girl with a man , from this I 'm just well ofigel !!! Linen with holes , dust under the beds , that is , they do not wash at all , hair on pillows and in the bathroom . ( the price does not match the quality of the room ! Do not regret 2-5 minutes after reading the review and find another hotel . There has never been so much negativity associated with living.

It is located almost on the shore, probably 50 m to the sea, maybe less, but you need to cross the road, the place is good, there are many cafes for every taste nearby, there is a transfer from the hotel to the airport in Sochi, a big plus there were a lot of towels, big, small, different!! Bathrobes! There is a washing machine, you can go down to the 1st floor and wash your clothes, there is an ironing board and an iron!! but I didn't like the noise from the cars and the complete cleaning of the room. The fact that they only clean, what can you say, is a plus- you need to wash the floor, they wash it, you need to change the towels, it's convenient, but if there is a complete cleaning, then everything should be clean, we still have wrappers from unpacked soap on the shelf in the bathroom and the shelf is all streaked, they forgot about it, like little things But they were remembered. We lived for 3 days. I'll start with the pros, there is a generator, which is mega important, considering that you are in Abkhazia. The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance! Beautiful courtyard, Parking, very polite and helpful staff.The iron in the hallway is also a plus. The disadvantages are dirt. Upon arrival, the sheets were not changed, they had someone else's hair on them, women's, men's, even there was hair on the windowsill, cobwebs, the smell of sewage, dirt stains on the walls, the room is small, the price of 5000 is of course very overpriced, even despite the location. But the hotel certainly has the potential, a normal maid, light cosmetic repairs in the rooms and at least a modest breakfast to include in the price for 5000 days.

For the first time in my life, I am writing such a long and negative review. Check-in at the hotel at 14:00, we arrived at 15:40. And at the same time they put us in an unmade room. The floors are not washed, there are a lot of crumbs under the table. There are also crumbs on the table. There's trash on the floor, hair, dust. On the balcony, the table did not see a wet rag at all. I'm not talking about the bathroom at all. The mirror is splattered, the shelf is dirty and streaked. There are packages of slippers lying around. From accessories, 2 shampoos and 2 used soaps. A suite for four, one bed is made (they take doubts whether clean linen). There are 3 pillows in the room, there was no bedding set on the sofa. One large towel for 4 and 5 small ones. This is the only room where bathrobes were provided, but of course there were none. I went to the reception and asked for our room to be cleaned. In response, I heard that there were no maids, there were a lot of people today, allegedly, they left early. Apparently they were tired and decided not to clean our room, as I understand it. I asked to clean it in the morning, but it was not possible to walk, so I asked for at least a broom. The receptionist Lana came with a mop, wiped the middle at random, it didn't get any better. I brought a set of linen and towels. Oh, and one robe. I asked why one, they asked how many do I need? I said at least 2, there are two adults. The receptionist brought another one, waffle robes without a belt. Go to the plowing as you want, apparently. 2 pairs of one-time slippers. The next morning, 1 shampoo and 2 used soaps were added to the bathroom. I threw the previous ones in the trash, maybe they got it out of there? I threw it out again. At the reception they sell one-time slippers and dental kits, but apparently they do not plan to put them in the room. As for the tea and coffee bags, they are not here. Just a teapot and mugs. The room was promised to be cleaned in the morning, but it was partially cleaned. It is not clear whether the floor was washed or not, apparently again only the middle, the crumbs remained untouched under the table. Dust also lay untouched in the corners. The table on the balcony was wiped, but the leftovers on the floor remained in place. The bathroom shelf and mirror were not wiped, although I asked. In general, the maids need to be replaced unambiguously. Cleanliness and this hotel are not compatible at all! There is no Wi-fi on the 3rd floor, only at the window. The lights are turned off often, there is a generator, but the administrator said they turn it on sometimes. If there is absolutely no light at all all day, they can turn it on for a short time. There is a washing machine alone, a microwave oven at the reception. The administrators have no desire to help. I definitely do not recommend this hotel. There is no cafe.

Overall a nice and cozy place. At first we lived on the third floor - the view from the balcony is just shakar. The sea is 1 minute away. The staff is very polite and pleasant. The room is cozy and clean. Properly installed air conditioner cools the room evenly and does not blow directly on the guests. Pleasant bonuses in the form of soap, shampoo, shower gel, slippers. Local entertainment included free backgammon and checkers. They even took them to the beach. Of the small disadvantages are: The furniture and plumbing are a little old, it would be possible to change to a new one. Sockets are installed not very conveniently and there are only two or three of them per room, and far from the bed. It is very noisy until 23:00, because cafes are nearby, and even closed windows do not save from noise. But then we moved to the ground floor and there the Windows do not face the main street, but the courtyard, and it is always quiet there, but there is no beautiful view of the sea. In general, I advise everyone. The place is cool. Excellent price/quality ratio.

And somehow we decided to visit Abkhazia.
We found this wonderful hotel at the booking office, booked a couple of rooms and hit the road. It should be noted that it was New Year's Eve.
We got there in the evening, were greeted warmly at the reception, went through the standard procedure and headed to the rooms.
Climbing the stairs, the mood began to change with each step and not for the better.
There was a oak tree on the second floor!
It was so cold in the room that the question of undressing or not did not arise, but there were a lot of other questions!
And to one of them, "why is it so cold and how to live with it?" at the reception they offered to pay another 1000 rubles a day and they will give a small electric heater (to avoid frostbite at least)
The word service in this hotel is unfamiliar and forgotten.
I think for the guests of my hotel it was necessary to warm the rooms in advance, and even more so if you know that it is so cold that it is not possible to sleep!
And yet, the towels stank of some kind of piss rags, and the bed linen looked like an old woman had rotted on it, well, the fact that the whole interior is older than you, even if you went through the First World War, I think it's understandable.
I do not recommend this place!

We arrived in Abkhazia by car at night. We had a reservation at the sanatorium, but from 15:00. Due to the workload of the sanatorium, we were not settled, and at 3:00 a.m., in the rain, we had to look for an overnight stay. Abkhazia was all asleep at that time, everything just died out. It was a terrible downpour, we ran around without umbrellas and looked for a hotel. But no one opened it, everyone was asleep🤷♀️ And lo and behold, the Quiet Don opened the doors for us. Lovely room on the ground floor with a view of the courtyard, the mountains! A huge, spacious room with a large bed and a sofa. Friendly staff, everything is clean. Super location. In the city center, near the sea, the promenade and the beach. It's a great place. I can't rate the restaurant and the breakfasts, but we took the business card! We had a rest in June 2021. The hotel matches the description. It's all clear. The rooms are very decent for 3 stars. The location is super, opposite the sea. The administrators of Ilona and Milan are awesome. They will always tell you everything. They always meet us halfway. I highly recommend it. And if I come back to Abkhazia, I will stay at this hotel. The owner (director) Konstantin generally treats the guests like family. We asked for another mirror, within 2 hours, it was hung up. Thanks a lot from Nonna from C-Pb.

We rested at the hotel from 07/20/22 to 07/29/22. We liked the hotel as a whole, decent rooms, snow-white bed linen and towels. Someone wrote about toilet paper, it's not true, the paper is white. In the room: refrigerator, kettle, air conditioning - everything works. We had a room on the ground floor without a balcony, but it didn't bother us. There is a dining room in the basement, but the food there is not very good. I would rate it 3+. Across the road towards novy Gagra, about 200 meters to walk, there is a takeaway. I recommend it is very tasty and not expensive to cook, the portions are large. For 4 people 1000₽-1300₽. (first, second, salad). The hotel is located next to the sea, 2 minutes and you're on the beach, the only thing I didn't like a little was the noisy road. As it is, everything is fine, the staff is friendly and helpful.
