This shop is heaven for a Russian reader, low-key boring for an English one, the Japanese out there, do come here in search of any popular manga in Japanese and be prepared to find them written in Kyrill letters🫡.

Terrible bookstore, I ordered a book in May and it two months for them to place the order and then they found out it was not in stock. Terrible communication, abysmal service. Also very little English and Uzbek literature, and unusable website.

There is a cafe upstairs and tables downstairs, you can make coffee, take a book and sit and read. In addition to books, various games, lamps, bookmarks, etc. are sold. For Harry Potter fans, this is generally paradise) There are all kinds of books on GP and various accessories and magic wands and even Hogwarts robes, scarves and ties of any faculties. But I'm not going there again, because it's still a bookstore and I went there to buy books. There were 6 or 7 books on my list (classics, psychology books, children's encyclopedias), but I didn't find any books from my list. She left empty-handed, but with good photos)

Online pre-orders are conditional. There is no information on the website that the ordered books are out of stock. And also, when you come to order books online, the books will be prepared only with you. And at the same time, they have to dictate which books were ordered, but the staff can't look at the number. This is an oversight on the part of both employees and management. Big dislike, we ask you to work through this gap or remove online orders altogether in order to prevent such customer frustrations.

A great alternative to the "Book World" near the Central Department Store. The main advantage for a person who is busy on weekdays is that Topar works on weekends, and quite late.
As for the assortment, everything is also on the level. Both fans of detective stories and fans of Japanese manga will be able to please themselves.
There is a kind of library below, where you can read books (and also drink coffee).
