Today I ran past this store from work, it was 20.55 on the clock, the store was until 21.00, I knew perfectly well that I didn't have much time, the child had to buy a couple of notebooks. I did not have time to cross the threshold, as the guy at the cash register said with a grin, "you have two minutes, I don't think you will have time to buy something here in two minutes" (I remind you 20.55)
I even got confused, the girl at the next cash register, apparently noticing that I was dumbfounded, tried to defuse the situation with the words let me take you I will serve you if you have a cashless account, but these words have already passed me by, I squeezed out something like, no thanks and left the store.
In fact, nothing terrible happened, we all get tired at the end of the working day and everyone wants to go home soon, but still, this world definitely lacks kindness. The mood was spoiled, the notebooks were not bought. I hope the cashier guy, dissatisfied with his life, came home 2 minutes earlier today.
