One of the most atmospheric museums in the vicinity of Minsk! I always take guests there in the warmer months! There is something to see, where to walk, just to enjoy the atmosphere. Employees, as a rule, tell a lot about the exhibits they are interested in (what it is and how it works). The child has a place to run, parents can drink wonderful liqueurs in the tavern :-) The perfect way to spend the day!

The Central Belarus House Museum is part of the Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Everyday Life. You can go in and inspect the house and household items. I recommend to inspect it.

Real historical exhibits are side by side with exhibits recreated by modern craftsmen and modern work supplies left somewhere in the corner (mops, buckets, bottles, rags). Nevertheless, many buildings and interior surroundings help to imagine how our ancestors lived in the 17th-early 19th century, what kind of huts, barns, barns, churches were built, and what household utensils they used. Most of the exhibits are not signed and there are no detailed descriptions for each building, only a sign on the outside. Therefore, it is better to walk around the museum with a guide who will tell you everything. There is an inn on the territory of the museum where you can eat delicious food. Also, for a weekly fee, you can fly in the cockpit of a delta aeroplane over the museum. It will take 5 hours to go around all the places. There is also a shop with crafts made of birch bark, vines, embroidery products and a souvenir shop. Nevertheless, it is the largest museum of buildings

Getting to know the life of Belarus from the beginning of the 20th century. It's nice that you got on a free tour. I would like to diversify it a little, of course, so that it would be interesting to come not once, but every year!
