Magnificent rooms in the building and with interiors in the style of the Stalinist Empire, with beautiful mosaics and preserved from Soviet times the location of shopping areas. On the ground floor, the famous Dream cake and other pies made according to Soviet recipes are sold in the dining room. Previously, cooking was also provided, but now, alas, instead of classic Soviet cooking, regular fast food (mini pizza, white bread, sausages in dough, etc.). On the second floor, as before, there is a grocery store. Now it is a store of the Euroopt company with a characteristic network assortment and prices. It should be noted that it is quite a decent assortment and reasonable prices. BSB Bank's exchange office is also located on the second floor. It's worth going in at least to look at the interiors and take pictures against their background, as well as drink coffee with nostalgic pies according to a real Soviet recipe.

The legendary Dream cake is here! On the 1st floor.
The Cafeteria itself has been around for over 40 years, and the Dream cake has been made using the same unique recipe for 21 years. I went there solely because I wanted to plunge into the culinary creamy past and feel the "taste of childhood". The outwardly dry and Soviet-style decorated "cake" turned out to be quite good. I put quotation marks on the word "cake" only because the display case shows whole cakes and pastries, which, according to the seller, are made from the same ingredients and using the same technology. I only tried the cake, because the whole cake is too much. 😂
The taste is nutty, the base is bread biscuit, classic)

A wonderful store in terms of location, equipment, and interiors. The only drawback in this sense is a steep staircase to the trading floor: not everyone can do it. Is it really impossible to install an escalator in such a visited shopping facility?
But the main and easily removable puncture is the people who work in the trading floor. I understand that the product distributor is not required to answer questions, but there are no others who can be asked these questions in the hall. Today, for example, I asked where the Food & Go products that were placed in a separate refrigerator had gone. Today it turned out to be empty. The girl explained without a shadow of a doubt that they were all sold, and it was only by chance that I found them in the culinary department. Another time, when I asked about Lyakhovichi curds, the lady who was laying out the goods in the dairy department answered me rudely and indignantly: "We don't sell their goods!" Whereas they are almost always on delivery, and why the girl is outraged, I do not understand.
I have no complaints about the people at the self-service checkout. They are polite and will help if necessary.

17.01.2025 I visited the cafeteria and, unfortunately, was extremely disappointed. I ordered a Romantic cake and whipped cream with chocolate. First, I used the Romantic cake, then I opened the Cream whipped with chocolate, I was unpleasantly surprised and SHOCKED — the cream turned out to be not only with chocolate, BUT Also WITH MOLD. This not only spoiled the mood, but also caused serious concerns about the sanitary standards in the institution. Well, there is a pharmacy nearby, in order to avoid the consequences, I bought and drank a drug for poisoning.
I recommend that everyone be vigilant and pay attention to the quality of the products, as such situations can lead to poisoning. I hope that the administration of the cafeteria of the Tsentralny supermarket will take measures to improve the quality and safety of food.

Yes, this is the center of the city, but I can't put it high, because, firstly, there is no parking nearby, there is no free parking at all. When you enter the store on the ground floor, you seem to have entered some kind of wild eatery where people are drinking, it's not even pleasant to enter another time. There is a euroopt on the second floor, I can't say I'm thrilled. There are always not enough vendors in the evenings, you stand in debt until someone comes to you. There is a separate quest at the checkout. There are at most two ticket offices and that's it, and it's in the city center.

There are places at the bar and you can also comfortably sit at a table. There are also ATMs and information kiosks. Euroopt is located on the second floor. The place is atmospheric - with old interior details. The second floor is a Euroopt with food and a good selection of semi-finished products and pastries of its own production. On the ground floor there is a cafeteria with delicious sweets and drinks. But there is also a bar with alcohol and snacks, so the contingent on the ground floor is very diverse.
A basket of protein cream is just a fire. Perfectly balanced taste according to an ancient recipe. It costs more than in other places. But it's definitely worth it.
And also delicious and inexpensive ice cream by weight in a delicious waffle cone. Relevant for summer.

A colleague brought a Dream cake to work - and I really liked it. I decided to buy such a cake for a family holiday . The cake was bought on 07/8/2024 and the marking is that it was made on the 8th. But what I bought was some kind of horror. There were a lot of light biscuits. And the cream is not enough. And the worst thing is that the biscuit was baked very dense and without impregnation. Like a gingerbread but without taste. If it's such an old biscuit. That's how they would make the impregnation. Any cake will be better than this cracker with cream. The quality is not constant.

The goal was to try the legendary Dream cake and Oscar coffee, the recipe of which has been original since Soviet times and is kept secret. It's really delicious))) Minus for an extremely unfriendly seller and a bunch of eateries in nooks with various alcohol.
