People paint the place. We thought and chose where to baptize the child, and settled on this church with her father. All the divine services are heartfelt, from the bottom of my heart. We also come here after the baptism of the child, although we have to travel here from another place.

I found out about this temple when I asked my mother where I was baptized. Here's what they write on the parish's website: "The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary According to the oral tradition of local residents, the Plisa was built on the site of the appearance of the Mother of God. It is one of the ancient temples of the Borisov diocese and it is more than 115 years old. It is noteworthy that the temple in Plis has never stopped its liturgical activities. Even in the most difficult years for the Orthodox Church, during the years of trials and persecution for the faith, it was always open, which felt the special mercy of God to this place. In difficult times, believers — parishioners of the temple have always said that they are under the special protection of the Mother of God. ... The temple has always been active. During the time of militant atheism, it was preserved mainly thanks to the priests who served in it. These are Archpriest Vasily Sokolovsky, who served in this parish for 33 years, and Priest Nikolai Novash, who took monastic vows at the end of his life at the Zhirovichi Holy Dormition Monastery."
