Before reaching the Church of St. John Chrysostom, on the right side of the forest is the church of Basilisk the Martyr, rebuilt on the site of an ancient temple. A gracious, peaceful place. Next to the church is the burial place of the Basilisk, kneeling before which you can ask for health and healing.

We visited this blessed place a week ago. I bathed in the holy spring, silence, peace, complete peace. Thanks to friends from Abkhazia, they suggested how to get there. We arrived in the late afternoon, there were few visitors, and everything was so calm and cordial, a man came out and fed the tummies, rabbits, birds, the place itself has peace of mind. This visit is the most memorable event, we traveled all over the republic, but the temple won us over with its warmth.

A small church is located on the right side of the road before reaching the Church of St. John Chrysostom. It was rebuilt on the ruins of an old church. In general, I was pleasantly surprised that Abkhazia began to engage in reconstruction, restoration and gentrification of territories.
