Level 30 Local Expert

The building of the old town hall on the main square of the city (Stura torjet). A small but very elegant building in the neo-Renaissance style. Since 2020, it has housed the United Spaces coworking space. The building was built in 1645 by the wealthy merchant Klas Edenberg as a private palace. For 260 years (in 1710-1970), meetings of the city council were held there, until the town hall moved to a new, modern building on Vaxalagatan. After the renovation, elite boutiques and restaurants worked in the building, and in recent years, a coworking space.
