Everything is quite well organized! Yes, there is a small queue at the entrance. In winter, you need to dress according to the weather! Employees everywhere help, explain and support! Well, the decision to approve a visa depends only on you. Be as polite, honest and calm as possible, and everything will be fine! A visa is not always issued the day after approval. Set aside 3-5 days and come for your passport only after receiving a letter that it is ready to be issued!

The embassy has three entrances from different streets. The open area in front of the embassy entrance is very windy and cold in winter. There is no clock in front of the entrance and without a phone you don't know if you are late or arrived on time. Although the queue is not large, 15-20 people, total, but 10 minutes of standing in an open area led my grandson to catch a cold. Very contradictory information is given about the possibility of taking or not taking phones. They came in with phones and handed them over to the storage room in the guardhouse at the entrance. I had to empty everything out of my pockets and put it in a cell with open cells. Entrance to the embassy for an interview withTauelsizdik, not Koshkarbayeva. However, the website of the US Embassy indicated on the phone in Astana their location on an unknown street "23-22", where the embassy is allegedly located. The security at the entrance is Russian-speaking, as are the employees who contact you directly. The interviewers, it seemed to me, are Russian-speaking Americans (three windows No.1-3). I think they're not happy about working in this place. The faces are sad. The guardhouse is located 10-15 meters away from the building where the interview is conducted in the open air. In the room where the interview is being conducted, there are hangers from the student's past without numbers, it's good that at least there are hangers. There are plenty of clothes, like on the shelves in a Sports store or on the market. In an interview, I found it very strange that I did not intend to return to Russia from the United States. They asked: the goal? - tourism, do relatives in the United States have a green card or citizenship? - No, where does the grandson study? - college, my place of work? - University teacher, marital status? - divorced, where did you travel?- in Russia. Aren't studies and work a priority? Apparently, in the USA, studying is free, you can work in tourism, and there are plenty of them. Divorce - within 10 days of staying in the USA apparently means the opportunity to get married. According to the interviewer, it was possible to travel even with the COVID epidemic. Then why did they close the embassy in Russia at the beginning of the epidemic and did not allow me to be interviewed on the first day of the epidemic announcement? Fantasy. Is social media proof of your travels? Are they posting everything on social media? and privacy? Minors, I believe, can be interviewed without parents and without accompanying persons. At least they did not require the appearance of the grandson's parents and documents about it. We'll take that into account. Kakhakhstan should be grateful to the United States for the opportunity to conduct interviews for Russians in Astana. A lot of people come and go for interviews, rent a house, spend money in shops and catering. Banks do not accept Russian bank cards. Cash guarantees the exchange of rubles for tenge. The exchange rate for February 6 is 1P - 5.19 tenge. Public transport is cashless only - the driver does not sell tickets, Everything is done using a QR code (you give money to a local, he pays for you, you take a picture of the QR code from the payer's phone). There are checks on the route about the payment of the fare.

I came from Russia to get a visa. They gave me a visa! Hooray hooray hooray! But besides that, I would like to mention the very friendly attitude of the employees! Very warmly welcomed and even more warmly congratulated on obtaining a visa! She came out with a smile from ear to ear and a visa in her passport.

Today, 16.01, I was interviewed and received approval. everything, absolutely everything! The embassy staff are so kind, smiling, and will help you wherever you get lost. I was shaking, very nervous, and the girl employee at the entrance calmed me down when issuing the badge, smiled, and said that everything would be fine! The men were supportive too! The fingers were quickly removed. The queue seemed endless, but it only seemed))) I had to stand for 7-10 minutes at most. After the approval, I could barely walk, I couldn't believe my luck and lost things on the go! The male employee was very happy with me))) Thanks to the whole shift and the girls, the consuls, everything is in essence: I asked and answered, everyone is in a great mood! They give it to everyone: both Russians and Kazakhstanis, there is no separation. I wish everyone to see a visa in their passport.

A taxi takes you to the entrance on Tauelsizdyk Avenue, the first police booth, passport check. This is followed by an anteroom through the intercom, which is called by last name and time. There are 2 buildings in the embassy that applicants pass through. In the first one, they check absolutely all the documents that they took with them in files or folders (passports, certificates, etc.). There they also leave unnecessary things in the cells (handbags, bags, phones, etc.) and receive a badge. They give one per family. The maximum cell size is 20x20. Then through the courtyard there is a passage to the second building, which may not be allowed immediately. We waited outside for 10 minutes. There is a locker room in this building, and it is convenient to hang outerwear in the cold season. After the locker room, we check our passports again and go to the waiting room. It's spacious, with lots of chairs. After the fingerprints, they queued up for an interview in a snake, like at airports. We had 2 reception windows, and there were 3 of them in total. In terms of time, it was fast enough, it took about an hour for everything. Our visas were not approved, we applied together with my mother, the officer talked sweetly with a smile, looked into my eyes, even expressed sympathy when she heard that my mother was a widow. The questions were as follows: the purpose of the trip, where you work, how often you travel, whether you are married and have children.

They work very quickly and accurately, everything is convenient and understandable. I didn't notice any bias towards Russians - everything is as usual, regulated procedures, my appointment was at 9:45, at 10:10 I already left. While it's cold, I recommend coming 15 minutes before the appointment (not earlier, not later). In 15 minutes, you can enter the so-called waiting vestibule. Show your passport to the camera, then go in one at a time (or in pairs, if you signed up together). First, you register in one window, then you take your fingerprints in another window, then you have an interview. Standard questions are asked. In my presence, they both approved and refused. I agree that the older generation is given out willingly, almost everyone approved. But with young people, the check is thorough. When I was there, my father and a girl with a large set of documents were refused, who wanted to go to a wedding with relatives. A young unmarried couple was also refused. Several girls were refused. They gave it to some of the young people. My recommendation is only that you should not try to deceive the officer - believe me, they see and know enough to make a decision. I did everything myself from beginning to end. I didn't invent anything. No additional documents were requested except for the previous passport, but I did not have it with me. Case study: about 10 countries in the chronology are 5 years old, married, without children, working. They approved my visa, but with an administrative check or something technical there (there are differences between these concepts, but I didn't go into it, I'm just waiting) I'm waiting a little longer than the others. All those who were approved and who avoided technical difficulties received notification of the passport's readiness the next day.

There were 4 standard questions: the purpose of the trip, where you work, whether you have friends or relatives in the United States, and whether you have children. The consul never looked into his eyes, looked at the monitor. It feels like the questions were just for show. It was unclear whether to continue talking or give short answers, as it was unclear if they were listening to us. The standard reason for the refusal was a weak connection with the Motherland, but there was not a single clarifying question about work, family, etc. There was not even an opportunity to tell something. Literally 1.5-2 minutes and a failure. There was an appointment at 10:15, we arrived in 40 minutes, and eventually we left at 11:45. There are a lot of people.

There are no special questions about the embassy itself, the staff is polite and responsible. We were interviewed on November 4. I am a single mother, with a 9-year-old son. We were going to visit my dad, who is a US citizen. The dialogue with the American consul girl sounded like this: - the purpose of your visit to the USA - we're going to see Grandpa, we haven't seen each other for a long time, we missed you - is he a citizen or a green card? - he is a citizen, in the USA since 1994 - this is your first visit (looks at the screen), oh yes, not the first - this will be the seventh trip to the USA - why have you been away for so long? - first, the child was born, then he grew up and we were in closer countries, Turkey, Italy. He is already 9 now and should be able to transfer such long flights normally - who do you work for? - I work as a specialist in the registration of medicines, I register medicines - Are you married? - No, in the divorce , he then holds out his passport with a refusal. I had an impressive set of documents, property, car, an elderly mother in Russia. In all previous interviews, the consuls asked me in detail about my connections in Russia, and now the consul has not asked a single question about my connections and has issued a verdict that no evidence of ties with my homeland has been provided. Yes, I was not allowed to provide them!! The conclusion is that they have certain instructions according to which they refuse, a conversation with the consul does not matter at all. For single mothers with a child, if you are traveling with a full family (parents with children) or if you have few trips in the last 5 years, I do not advise you to apply now. You will be rejected regardless of your answers. At least in Kazakhstan for sure. I can't tell from other people. I saw joyful people at the exit, Russians, probably they were given to them, I did not approach them. From the 1st window where we communicated with the consul, many people came out with passports in their hands, which means they refused, among them were Kazakhs and Russians. Next time I will definitely apply in another country, only after I improve my case and most likely alone, since full families were not allowed to enter the United States before as tourists

A family with a 6-year-old child was not given a visa, and they didn't ask much at the interview, only for recent trips together, not alone. The embassy itself is pleasant, everyone is very friendly. Visas were mostly given only to pensioners and on business trips.

Questions from the consul; married? Me: divorced. Consul: Do you have children? Me: yes, my daughter is 10 years old Consul: Do you travel often? Me: No, I've been to Turkey and the UAE over the past year. Consul: Are you flying with your daughter now? Me: No, I have a trip planned with my friends. Consul: refused. The dialogue lasted less than a minute. But the city of Astana is beautiful, the people are friendly, the food is delicious)

I do not know how consuls decide who to give and who to take))))) But I received an illogical refusal and an excuse that there were not enough ties with my homeland . Suddenly. I have a lot of trips, work, daughter, real estate. They were probably afraid that I would get married with them , well , yes , I would envy me too if I were in their place . I do not advise you to enroll in Astana, all Russians were refused in my presence .

go apply to Serbia, there is nothing for you to do here, a couple of questions for a check mark and a refusal, there was a gorgeous briefcase, a full package of documents, the officer in the 2nd window did not even look at me once, the feeling that she did not even listen to what I was saying, even those who had visas to the United States are denied, it is very illogical, A person could have already stayed there once.

We were not given a visa :) We were in 3 windows . The consul asked a lot of questions, there was an interest in helping and "pulling out", and not a formal refusal. They did not write flattering reviews about him here, but we had the most good and kind impressions. The case was difficult for us (the refusal was expected), it was submitted for the sake of interest:))) I want to express my gratitude to the consulate staff for their politeness and to the consul himself for his adequacy and attention. In the end, he even expressed it sincerely (in my opinion )regret. We will improve the case and try again. Thanks for the experience :) P.S. We were given Russian visas in this window. Do not come much in advance, it is very cold to stand and there is nowhere to hide (in fact, you will come in at your time).

I flew from St. Petersburg for a visa. I filled out the questionnaire myself and signed up. A 30-year-old girl, Russian, I like to travel. I've never been to America before. There's a queue outside, but you just need to find your group for your time. It was recorded at 9:45, we went in at about 9:55 and spent about an hour inside. We approved the visa at the interview. They asked different questions, not just basic ones. The visa is ready for 3 days. It feels like there aren't as many rejections as they say here. Good luck to everyone!

This morning we rented with my husband and a small child.(2 windows)We really wanted to see Christmas, we even roughly picked up a hotel, we dreamed of well, for reasons that are not clear, we immediately refused (To many)Although my husband is a government employee and I work in a private clinic and that our income allows 1-2 times to go abroad, even 2 months ago we were in the UAE.It's a pity there are so many expectations, so many funds in the air. As I understood it, it's like a lotorea for those who are lucky, well, there are very few chances, it's better to choose another option. Well, the security is top!! Respect they work very competently 👍

Good afternoon! Today we successfully passed the interview in Astana! I want to share my positive experience, as a lot of negativity is usually written. I will not write about the order and queues, everything is standard. When we had the girl's fingerprints, they sent her to redo the photo, everything else was standard. Approved by everyone who really has a normal case Travel, binding to the house, etc. They refused decent people who have both business and real estate, but no tourist trips, or one in a year. They asked us three questions - - the purpose of the trip - they told us in detail that tourism, we love to travel, recently visited Japan and China, we want to go without children again - what are you doing - your own business, we rent out our real estate - if relatives are in the USA - yes, my father has citizenship - then the consul fell silent and typed for two minutes, I already thought - that's it, the end) But we saw the cherished blue piece of paper and that's it, the weight off my shoulders! I wish you all good luck!

The staff are all responsive, explain everything in detail, and accompany us. From the first stage to the last, there are no problems, it is impossible to get confused. It scared me that this was my first time there and suddenly I would do something wrong. I would like to give one star for refusal, but I understand that this is a standard situation for refusal. I don't have any European countries on my travel list. I'm a girl, 30 years old. I applied for a visa alone. The interview was in 1 window. Questions: Where are you going? To Disneyland. Who do you work for? I have my own business and described it in detail. Is this your business? But my. How many years have you owned it? 6 years Which countries have you been to in the last 2 years? Armenia, Egypt, Turkey, Thailand, China. - We have to refuse you, I have attached a refusal form. A weak connection with the Motherland.

At least return the money for the consular fee why should they pay for the otkz for the fact that she consul will look at the monitor for 3 minutes, let them take the money if they approve it to the Americans to go to the bar and then spend more here the consular fee of almost half of the monthly po well settled stupidly earn money from poor people selling the illusion that you you can visit their wonderful countries, in general, I advise the government of Kazakhstan not to sell resources to countries pursuing discriminatory policies against Kazakhstanis. Do you want resources to squeeze visas like all normal countries, the percentage of refusal of the USA to sinugapur in a visa is 4% to Kazakhstan 40% where is democracy and equality???

Good luck to everyone. I decided to write about my experience of obtaining a visa. I received my first visa and maybe the last one in Riga in 2018, the consul asked the woman questions through an employee with knowledge of the Russian language. On this visa, I have been to the United States five times within the date of the stamp in the passport issued by the officer at the border. All stamps were semi-annual. After that, he applied for a visa in Israel, in Tel Aviv in October 2022, was refused. The consul asked questions and did not listen to the answers, it was not clear how to act, speak or stop, tapped on the keys and slipped a refusal sheet. Astana December 2023, the consul was a woman, she also tapped on the keys, the questions were standard, she asked if I had been to Israel, she did not ask for any documents and refused. I'm 60+. So: the opinion is this, the decision was made before the interview, if you can call it that. It surprises and destroys the healthy logic that we pay for what we are not provided with. And I think that the unbreakable proof of connection with the Motherland is the presence of a Russian passport.

Review of March 10, 2024 I will supplement the previous reviews. In general, the queue moves quickly, everything is organized. You can take your phone with you, but only when it is turned off. I really liked the positive attitude of the guards inside. Thank you :) We were in a good mood right away. The girl who rolls back her fingers is also very cute, also with humor. We were pleasantly surprised by the goodwill. As for the approval, we were not given. We had all the documents, the norms of the PO, all the certificates, confirmations of close friendship with childhood friends we were going to, etc. There was a question: why are you going - tourism and to friends. Question: where have you been for the last 5 years (they named the CIS countries, Turkey) Question: where do you work, who do you work with (they named the name of the IT company and the position) They returned the passport with the comment "I'm sorry, but this is my decision." It was difficult to understand the consul (strong accent and fast speech), I had to ask him twice. The interview was conducted in Russian Before us, they gave it to a man who was going to his mother, and a girl who was just going for tourism.

On the plus side, everyone is polite. Of the minuses, they give visas from a fool, as they want. There was no interview as such. Two questions and a formal refusal. We didn't look at any documents at all. You shouldn't go to window number three - there's a Kazakh girl with glasses who doesn't give anyone a visa at all (while I was standing in line, I didn't see any approval from her). Visas were approved in the neighboring windows.

At the moment, the situation is as follows: It's not true that Russians are supposedly approved of. They approve, just for Kazakh pensioners, who cannot connect two words. The Russians were all refused in front of me today, including me. There were many people with Russian passports, with trips to Europe, and with business in Russia. Nevertheless, they did not prove their connection with the motherland and goodbye. Don't even waste time on this nonsense if you're still in doubt. We waited with a small child for more than an hour, they do not accept time, only the guards are polite and pleasant there, the consul is generally some kind of Chinese in 1 window. It's ironic that a Chinese man decides whether Russians will go on a trip to America... and we really just wanted to go on vacation! Consuls, if you are reading this, your approved citizens of Kazakhstan are going to your America to work and are not going to return, thank you that thanks to you all, people cannot travel.

Excellent work of the embassy! Everyone is very friendly. About some kind of negative attitude towards Russians, who writes-this is not true. I got the impression that most people approved of who was with us. I got into the 2nd window, a 15-minute interview, standard questions (I was in America 1 time before), and "your visa is approved." Thank you very much!

I liked the attitude before entering the Embassy hall, as well as the officers themselves, I was interviewed by a girl with medium blonde hair, pleasant and polite in communication, asked everything clearly and to the point, typed very quickly. There were people who were throwing tantrums, we had to call security and they were taken out. Overall, the impression is positive about the consuls and the embassy!

perhaps my review will be useful to someone, although I do not recommend reading them particularly, because they are mostly left by those who have been rejected. I came to the embassy half an hour before the interview, when you get inside, even if you don't worry - the vibrations of people electrify the space so much that you still find yourself in a slight daze. I didn't take any documents with me, I took only a photo of Shiva, so as not to feel alone and not to be influenced by the energy of desperate desire. The main thing is to wish, but not to want. This rule really works. I walked with the thought of absolute indifference. everything went very quickly. the queue was long, the appointment was at 10:30, at 10:50 I already approached the officer. There is privacy to the visa windows, like a cubicle, or as you stand in Moscow - and dozens of eyes are looking at you. I tried not to listen to whether they approved or refused, I stood and looked out the window, birds were playing there. Only in front of me I heard that an elderly couple and a man were refused. The most important point is that there is no bias against Russians in the embassy. There are only Russians there, and there is no one else. The officers are just doing their job, they don't care what your passport is, age. I was asked three questions: the purpose, who I am flying with, who I work with, I was rejected in Moscow in 2018. And the last multi-Schengen was in 2019. I asked for an old passport with Schengen visas. But there are a lot of trips, over the past year I have been to 6 countries. The officers really do not look and do not ask for documents, they only check the questionnaire, because your case and your face are already an indicator of whether you will approve a visa or not. Good luck to everyone! Special thanks to the staff, Kazakhs are so easy and pleasant people. I recommend applying at this embassy. Promptly and professionally.

Very nice staff, they all suggested, helped, the visa was approved very quickly, asking a few questions) First you go through, turn off all devices, then leave things, go through one document check, then the second, then a short interview in Russian, then fingerprints are taken, and then an interview in English with an American. Everything is clear, understandable, I was approved an f1 visa))

Good afternoon, my feedback for those who are going to apply, I will share my experience. I came from Russia to a foreign city, there are no relatives or acquaintances here. Even before arrival, I paid for the hotel, arrived the day before the scheduled date. So: On the street, you give the guard your passport, he checks if your last name is in the database. Next, we go to a small room, according to video surveillance, the officer asks Example : Who is at 8.15 is usually several people, so ask in the queue who is for what time, the interval between windows is 15 minutes, that is, first they call those who are at 8.15, then at 8.30, 8.45 and we pass. Who comes to the camera at the specified time, we look directly at our last name and first name, if there are several of you, then everyone should introduce themselves. With children, they are called out of turn, no matter what time is scheduled. Turn off the phones, take off the watch, take everything out of your pockets and put it in a bag or bag. When the officer has clarified your details, they will open the door for you, give you a badge, take bags and packages to the cell. You are allowed to take only documents with you. Next, you will go to the interview room, where your passport will be checked again, a printed application form will be scanned, fingerprints will be taken and an interview window will be sent. There is no prejudice against anyone, all this is nonsense. Communication is businesslike and correct, It all depends on what you say and how you behave, my family was refused, and two young piglets))They gave it away. The girls replied as is, that their goal was just to walk around New York. They gave it to an elderly couple who want to visit their newborn grandson. A man in his 40s was refused. So I advise everyone to go and submit their documents calmly. The staff are very polite, it feels like they understand our excitement and do not raise their voice, but calmly explain for the hundredth time what needs to be done. By the way, my visa has been approved, I am waiting at the hotel to get the coveted right to visit this country again to see my sister's family. Good luck to all! If anyone has any questions, write, I will be happy to answer. Yes, most importantly, do not do anything stupid, do not apply through an agency, do everything yourself. Paying the agency is a waste of money, they just fill out a questionnaire for you, it has no effect on the issuance of visas.

I was refused a visa, although, as it seems to me, there was no reason for this, before that I went to the USA on a tour visa, without any problems. The staff are all polite, and the guards, and the workers in the windows. 1) Don't come early! I had an appointment at 9:30, I went up to 9:10, as a result, I stood outside for half an hour, because they don't start ahead of time. There were those who were generally at 10:00, it was long and cold for them to stand.A lot of people are booked at the same time, they come in the order of the queue 2) First you approach the security booth on the street with your passport, then you get in the general queue on the street. There is a camera in the waiting room at the entrance to the building itself, the guard asks for the last name through audio communication, checks with the lists, asks if there are laptops and tablets with you, if you have turned off the phone and lets you through. For some reason I was not on the lists, a guard came out, took a printed confirmation of appointment from me, and after a few minutes they launched 3) Then a standard inspection, you leave the bag on guard, you are given a badge. 4) go to another building, show your passport and a printout of the form with a barcode 5) go to the fifth window, the employee asks if you have changed your first and last name, if you have a new photo, if you have been to the USA before 6) Take your fingerprints and get in line for an interview There are a lot of people, both on the street and indoors, there is no electronic queue, you have to stand. According to the 50-50 visas, in front of me, someone was given visas, and someone was refused. From the outside, it is difficult to say whether there is any kind of system. It seemed to me that the consul girl stamped solid refusals, in any case, those whom I saw left her with refusals, and from another window, on the contrary, people came out mostly satisfied

We were at the embassy today, all the staff of the GRMA who met us, except for the consuls who received us, in the 2nd window the guy of Asian appearance approved only those who knew English, in the 1st window the American redhead woman was generally not herself and refused everyone in a row, asked questions, but did not listen to the answers and she wasn't even interested in the answer, in general she was out of sorts

My only disadvantage is that it was hot to stand, but it was worth it. The queue passed quickly, the staff who helped to pass at the entrance and helped to solve any questions. You can leave your belongings, a small bag and a smartphone at the entrance to the embassy. I quickly took my fingerprints and passed the interview quickly. The visa was approved)

The process was more disorganized, the time for the interview was 10:30, at 11:30 I was still standing in line 🤪 Everything is moving extremely slowly, people come to the time, but the guards do not let them in, since the previous ones did not pass and it turns out chaos It's always a lottery to get an American visa..If you're lucky, you won't be lucky. Even people from the same family were given one, the second was refused

I was very worried. Everything went smoothly, the attitude was very friendly. There has never been a visa. The passport was made in the spring, it had never been before either. The main thing is to answer questions honestly. They didn't ask to show any additional documents. It was scheduled for 10.30. I came an hour in advance just in case. At 10.45 I was already out. The visa was approved. I'm happy.

The staff is very polite. Despite the fact that we arrived ahead of time, we were immediately let inside, not forced to wait in the cold. They noticed such a thing, they approve of people 50+. All the young people were rejected before us, and we were also affected. The whole family was served, parents and two daughters (23 and 10 years old), the goal: to visit the daughter (sister), the parents approved, the youngest and I did not. Something like that(((

On April 1, 2024, we were interviewed. I came with my wife an hour before, the weather was warm and sunny. A woman consul conducted an interview with us in the 3rd window. I asked questions:1. The purpose of visiting the USA.2. In what year did you retire. It took about 20 seconds. Our visa was approved. We are retired. We are 67 and 62 years old. My son has been living in the USA for 12 years. A family with a child received a refusal in front of us.

A group of 3 people, me, a friend and her mom. They gave it to my mother, but not to us, although my friend had 4 visas earlier. We travel often. I consider such an attitude in issuing and approving visas to be illegal enrichment. We just wanted to go on vacation. The case is standard, without nuances. Lottery. They gave it to many of us. Important! They will be sent with large items to look for storage rooms. With a laptop or tablet, they won't let you in! They will also send us to look for storage rooms (we were sent). There is chaos in the queue outside.

They only approve of old ladies and pensioners. I REALLY, really do not recommend this embassy. They refuse all Russians and you don't even have to try. We were refused literally a minute after the start of the interview without ANY verification of documents. I typed for a minute and slapped a refusal ;( Have a nice day to her.

I should have read the reviews here right away, then I wouldn't have gone in vain) They refused, despite neither the work nor the travel history. The conversation lasted less than a minute, a couple of questions, the girl looked exclusively at the monitor, as if the decision had already been made in advance. Apparently, all Russians are considered as potential immigrants here)

They refused, citing reasons for emigration. In general, it is unclear why, from what they took it. I have a business and work in 3 countries. Permanent residence in Turkey. I didn't even think about moving to their country. What for??? They were not at all convinced that my income outside their country was significantly higher. They wanted to invest money in their international company as a family, go on cruises, travel, go to the Lasvegas casino. Everything was crossed out in one word: you were refused, you plan to emigrate :))). It's not clear how it works at all. Apparently they needed to lie so that everything would go according to the bureaucracy scheme.

Everything is done very quickly and efficiently. I was pleased with the punctuality and courtesy of the staff. The only drawback is that with long queues in winter you have to freeze outside.

On September 6, my wife and I received a tourist visa to the United States in Astana, everything was successful, I am 48, my wife is 47 years old, I am an entrepreneur real estate online trading, the wife of lawyers of large state-owned companies, the interview lasted exactly 40 seconds, I believe that 95% of the decision is already made in advance regarding your questionnaire, We do not have relatives in the United States for them positive, any anchor that keeps you there is a danger for them, What people write about Astana 99% of refusals and rude guards are all lies, When they received passports at the vfs in Astana the next day, they waited for about 2 hours, communicated with other people, families can often give parents and children refuse, in my opinion There are practically no chances for young people of military age

Everything is clear, polite and prompt. There is no point in coming much in advance, 20-30 minutes before the appointed time, it is indicative for forming a queue. First, you need to give your passport to the guard in the booth to the right of the entrance. He will check the data, then in the general queue, you can specify who for what time. None of the staff of the consulate participated in the formation of the queue with us. It was cold enough outside, people were trying to get into a warm dressing room. There will be a camera in front of the entrance, give your last name, first name and the appointed time and that the phone is disconnected. If you come in advance, they won't let you in, they'll ask you to wait for your time, so there's no point in climbing ahead and trying to get through early, they just won't let you in. Take a minimum of things with you (backpacks and bags are not needed), the cells are small, so there is simply nowhere to put things. Maximum documents, passport and phone number. If you have a smartwatch, it is better not to take it, because you will need to take it off, turn it off and hand it over. After handing over the items, the control of outerwear is on the tape and you are in a magnetic frame. Next, go to the consulate building, leave your outerwear on a hanger, inside a very polite employee checks your documents and sends them to the necessary window. Well, then the process along the chain. All the staff of the consulate are very polite, courteous, attentive. There was only one refusal with us.

I do not think that obtaining a visa depends on the location of the embassy or consulate. Politics is the same everywhere. In my case, everything went well, they didn't torture me for a long time, all the questions are about the same. Maybe because I've already been to the states three times. The attitude is friendly, there are no prejudices against Russians. Mostly young people are denied, regardless of gender. In general, the devil is not so terrible...

Citizens of the Russian Federation do not waste your time and money, everyone is refused at this consulate. The situation is as follows, the locals sign up for one time, and from 9:30 people of Slavic appearance are already starting to walk. Of course, the organization is lame compared to Moscow, but everyone was friendly, they lined up themselves, they could even carry a bag with them. First I send it to the 6th window, there's something an officer who speaks Russian well (I think he's obviously not an American) does something with the passport and glues a sticker on the back of the passport cover and directs it to the next window. My daughter and I had the 3rd window fall out, but when we went to the window there was no one and the consulate employee (a young guy) directed us further into the 4th window and here… The consul, a young girl, asked a question about the last visit to America, the number of days of stay and the purpose of the trip. After answering all the questions, she decided that it was a refusal. She didn't even open the passport of her 21-year-old daughter! Our visa history is excellent, multiple Schengen visas, a visa to America and two trips on it without violating the rules of departure dates, trips to Asia. She had documents with her confirming her connection with her Homeland, which of course she didn't even look at. It's very strange. Consuls may not know, but those who want to live in America do it through Mexico, and do not waste their time and money on a visa. And for the record, those from Kazakhstan who you approve visas to stay in America and even get citizenship, and those who want to have a good rest and spend their money in your country, you refuse, it's strange. By the way, they say that everyone who turned out to be in the 3rd window that morning was refused. The funniest and saddest thing is that the refusal is due to no ties with the motherland. For them, business, real estate and relatives are not a guarantee of return to their homeland, and they do not ask for these documents. They don't ask anything as it is about applying for Schengen, but to draw such a conclusion on two issues is ridiculous. I heard from someone that when we fill out an interior design questionnaire and sign up for an interview, the consulate already knows whether to approve or refuse, and arriving for an interview is a formality. In any case, I wish good luck to all those who decide to be interviewed for a visa here 🙏🏾
