A magnificent palace!!!! A rich and very beautiful estate. Compare Mirsky and Nesvizh castle. It is very gratifying that there are such places in Belarus! Excellent restoration, wonderful works by Belarusian masters of furniture and casting! It will be even more beautiful with the restoration of the park. Excellent staff work. But there is very little advertising in the media, television, and few souvenirs. We learned from friends, those from their friends... many have not heard, although educated people. That's what needs to be advertised, what needs to be published, there is not enough management and PR.

The manor is interesting. It is very well restored and recreates the atmosphere of its time. The museum staff is very friendly. They know the history of the estate and the fate of its owners well. They talk about it with interest if you ask them a question. As a wish for the organizers, a parking place and signs in the village are required to get to the estate.

A gorgeous place! It was an interesting tour. The place was opened in 2023 for the 200th anniversary of the estate. Spiritual caretakers in the halls. Interestingly, the exhibits were partially bought from collectors, and partially are 'in temporary use'.
Work is still underway around the lake, but it should be completed by the end of 2025.
The place is clearly going to become very popular in the coming years. And very deservedly so.

We are very pleased with the fact that another historical object has been restored in Belarus, which has replenished the piggy bank of cultural heritage. The palace is very interesting from the point of view of architecture. The interiors are also very interesting, given that the reconstruction of the facility has been carried out for 14 years - it is clear that a tremendous and painstaking work has been done. The ceiling decoration is especially impressive - these are really masterpieces. The furniture and other items of the exhibition are selected in the spirit of the times, there are many historical photographs in the premises, which can be used to assess the correspondence of their past and current appearance. Excursions are conducted in small groups to avoid pandemonium, because the rooms in the palace are mostly small in size. Maxim, the tour guide, is a true professional in his field, uses an interesting and relaxed format, has deep knowledge, told a lot of interesting facts, easily answered all the questions asked.

An estate with a very beautiful interior!!!
The architectural and design feature of the palace are its ceilings (carved ceilings, elegant stucco...), which fascinate, antique furniture, chandeliers, paintings, dishes and much more.
Art lovers can spend hours looking at this beauty.
The restoration of the palace was carried out for its 200th anniversary (in 2023) based on old photos (some of which were lost in a fire). Of course, not everything has been restored, but you can already see and plunge into the atmosphere of the 18-19 era.
And believe me, you will not remain indifferent!!!
Thanks to the staff of the palace for the warm welcome!
The only disadvantage is the cafe: stuffy, the service is at a level that cannot be described in words.

A great place to relax on a weekend. Restoration work is still underway, but there is already something to see. The cost of an entrance ticket with a guide is very affordable. I liked everything. I am glad that the restoration of interior details and all the decoration is the work of Belarusian restorers. There are small details in the service that should be tightened up. I definitely expect to return here in a year after the reconstruction of the park. The organizers should consider a recreation service in the park, where you can have a snack with children, hiking, boating.

I really liked the palace, we were with a guide - they told us everything in detail, interestingly, and most importantly not by running, but by giving us time to enjoy this luxury, I recommend you to visit! We were in February, and the park area will be even more magnificent in summer and autumn.

The residence of a wealthy nobleman, Bobruisk county marshal Ignat Bulgak [bel.] (1798-1848) in the village of Zhilichi, built in the 1830s by his order and designed by architect Karol Podchashinsky on the banks of the Dobosna River.
The residential residence is designed in the same classical style: austerity of lines, clarity and simplicity of silhouette, Ionic columns, porticos with refined stucco, rounded arches…
There were about a hundred rooms in the palace: banquet and ballrooms, many living rooms and salons, galleries, a house chapel, and a greenhouse. The rooms were arranged in a certain order, which is also one of the features of classicism.
The interiors are luxurious: all ceilings with elegant moldings, expensive furniture and carpets, artistic parquet floors made of various types of wood (there are even 3D effect!). Without a doubt, many of the rooms were designed to showcase the impressive collections of the hosts to the guests.

It is a very beautiful and atmospheric place. The rich decoration and atypical layout, they worked hard on the reconstruction of this manor, the interior of each room was very well furnished, I advise you to take a tour because the manor itself is not very large, with a tour of the main rooms it took about an hour and a little. In the winter of 2025, another tour of the passages for the servants of the manor should be added , judging by the guide's story , this is a long and intricate network of passages outside the walls of the main rooms and halls . And I would come here again just to visit this tour.

Convenient parking right at the entrance to the estate.
The surrounding area can still be cultivated.
The cafe, opened at the manor, of course leaves much to be desired. It would be possible to make it more atmospheric, in the style of a manor. Well, the staff in the cafe and the service itself are like in an ordinary rural store.
I recommend visiting the estate at different times of the year - the territory will delight in different ways.

We were there on Sunday. We just walked through the halls without a guide. I liked it very much: the grandeur of each room, interesting interior, high ceilings. Huge amounts of money have been spent on reconstruction. When you enter the rooms, the reaction is the same: "Wow!" I would like to mention the very polite and tactful caretakers of the halls. No one drove us to leave faster, we had time to look at everything carefully. It was interesting to plunge into that era, to imagine dinners with the conclusion of contracts, balls, tea drinking, card games of those people. To all those who are interested in touching the history, come, you will not regret it. The cost is 10 rubles, with a guide 14. There is a souvenir shop. Take a snack with you if necessary, there is no cafe on the territory, and it is not needed there. There are shops nearby, if necessary. And take a look, it's very interesting there!)

A good historical site. An interesting tour. It can really be called the "Pearl of the Mogilev region". It is very unexpected to see such a palace in the countryside. I hope the park and pond will be restored soon. There are also not enough equipped parking lots and well-organized catering with a twist. The cafe inside the museum is about nothing. If we organized an entertaining leisure so that we could walk with our family all day, it would be cool. For example, carriage riding, archery, immersion in the life of that era, theatrical events with the participation of tourists, etc. And so literally 1 hour and there is nothing to do... Although it is a very promising object.

Minus a point for the staff and the cafe itself, we waited for the opening for 30 minutes because it was very hot and I wanted to buy some water. When people began to get indignant and knocked to find out about the opening, since there was a 15-minute break on the sign, a formidable woman came out and shouted at everyone that I accept the goods, wait. Going into the cafe, she also psychotically served people that everyone bought water and left faster. Anything to avoid spoiling your mood and the impression of the tour.

It is better to take a ticket with an excursion, they will tell and show everything in detail and interestingly, they will answer all questions. In June 2024, the ticket price with an excursion is 14p, children's 7p. You need to go to Zhilichi for a few hours, an hour tour, arrange a photo shoot in the courtyard, take a walk around the surrounding area. And you can also have a snack in the cafe.

Admission with an excursion cost 14 rubles., without an excursion 10 rubles. But I advise you to take a tour - it's much more interesting! Just watching is one thing, but watching and listening to a story and fun facts is quite another! There is a toilet. There is a cafe with sweets, coffee, tea and cognac.

In my opinion, it is average. Yes, the building has been restored, and it is generally pleasant to be there. But there are not enough exhibits. Without an excursion, the inspection will take no more than half an hour. There are a lot of people coming, whole buses. Weekend excursions are a stream. Accordingly, the small halls are cramped and bustling. The guides themselves tell an interesting story.
Admission for adults is 10 BYN without an excursion, 14 with an excursion, but it is only a group and at a certain time. Whether it is worth going 200 km one way from Minsk is a big question.

Great, I didn't expect to see such beauty. In general, I admire the restoration of other places. But it has a special potential. The building was not actually damaged during the Soviet years, and the interior and exterior decoration were restored according to the preserved photo archives. In some halls, these photos from the beginning of the 20th century are on display, you can compare how it was before and the existing interiors. If you add a photo from the intermediate years of Soviet power, it does not hurt. This way, in my opinion, it will be possible to assess the scale of the restoration. The tour is fascinating, much is known about the life of the founders of the estate. Adopting the experience of other museums in the world, I would suggest serving dishes from the era of the 19th century when the Bulgakovs lived and what exactly they ate and liked. Of course, after the restoration of the park, this estate will become even more attractive. Personally, I would like to install a charging station for electric vehicles. It is convenient for the museum to have a penny in the budget for electric wires.
