The Planners took over Ops in the 1820s. In 1903-1904, Felix Plater built a luxurious house here according to the design of the architect from Panevezys – Teleshinsky. It was a one-story building in the neoclassical style, flanked by two-story wings. The entrance was a portico with columns. The outdoor terrace had a view of the lake, and a cascade of stairs led to the water. Nearby there was a landscape park with an arched bridge made of hewn stone. However, the owners did not have time to live in the new residence – the construction was delayed. The Planners lived nearby in Belmonty, in their main residence, although they had estates in both Poland and Latvia. And then the First World War began. The manor in Ops was badly damaged and the owners, unable to restore and maintain it, sold it to the treasury. The manor house was equipped for an agricultural school, which operated in the building from 1927 to 1939. After the Second World War, an orphanage was built in the building. After the collapse of the USSR, the Belarusian Society for the Disabled planned to make a rest home in these walls, but the plans were not destined to come true. As well as the further plans of a major investor to make a VIP-class place for wealthy tourists in the Plater estate. Today in Ops you can see the remains of the Plater's residence and several outbuildings, the most interesting of which is the red brick ice house.

When we arrived, it was obvious that someone had bought it . It 's a pity if such beauty remains in ruin . The exit to the lake is a separate work of art, you can sit on the stairs for hours, the building has survived a lot. It was a manor house , a college , and a nursing home . Everything was rebuilt inside a long time ago , it was very difficult to imagine how it used to be.

It is a very beautiful picturesque place, there is something to see for lovers of abandoned buildings. Inside, the building has been redone in a Soviet way, which adds a special spirit of different styles, tastes and strangely mixed impressions of the estate. Huge trees add to the impression of transience of human life...
