pluses:
the high floors of 1512-1514 offer sea views, a good mattress, a good location, sunset views in some rooms, two metro stations and a tram stop nearby. a couple of inexpensive shops are also nearby.
minuses:
we were given a single room, instead of a double room (there were not enough towels, blankets), dirty floor, poor-quality cleaning (after it there was a huge clump of dust on the floor), bed linen was changed for 20 rubles, left on the bed, towels were not changed in a week at all, towels and linen were stained, there was mold in the bathroom (but good water pressure), the windows overlooked a busy roadway and a bar, until late at night either the noise of cars or singing karaoke on weekends. For breakfast, mostly cold dishes, only boiled eggs, omelets/fried sausages/potatoes from warm ones, remnants of yesterday's breakfast appeared the next day, traces of rodents were found on packages of disposable sauces (butter, chocolate paste, jam) (packages were chewed through), as well as their inhabitants and their larvae were found in lettuce leaves.
the Internet fell off once a day for a long time, disappeared altogether one day, the staff speaks English poorly.
when you leave the room with a card, the electricity in the room goes out, the refrigerator stops working, the sockets and conduits also do not work. the light control panel on one side of the bed also did not work, only Turkish channels, thin doors, you can hear the arrival of the elevator and the entrance / exit of neighbors from the elevator to the room. no one could give information about the sauna that supposedly exists there, no prices, nothing.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Istanbul, great location, close to the metro. Clean, cozy, polite and helpful staff. We will definitely come again.
