We chose a trip to Pamukkale and a Russian guide. Compared to the travel agency from our Antalya - cosmos tour: it's cheaper, the buses are better, there are few advertising stops, there is a lot of time at the facility, and we tried to make sanitary stops.
We had two guides: a Russian-speaking and an English-speaking one. At first, we were met by an English-speaking guide and we were afraid that there would be no Russian and we were deceived, but then we transferred to a large bus and there was already a Russian speaker. Ours was very caring and helped the English speaker to look for his wares. A good-natured uncle who often told a lot of things, but not all of them are true. Someone will be upset by such a guide because they will think that he is out of spite or not, but he reminded me of my father, and he just loves to embellish everything and add on himself, I decided that this one is the same. The English speaker told his family much less, which caused the French women to swear and ask our friend to switch to English in order to listen to him. There were about 7 Russian speakers and about 35 English speakers (Koreans, Arabs, French, Indians, etc.).
The lunch was sooooo delicious with a great buffet. The views are gorgeous, but there are quite a lot of people walking around. Probably about 10,000 people pass through there in a day. Keep this in mind when photographing. We arrived early in the morning at the check-out at 5:40, but the parking lot was already packed. We arrived at the place at 11 a.m., including stops, if I'm not mistaken, because we had 2.5 hours to walk by ourselves, and we were supposed to gather at 2 p.m. for lunch.
It was a pity that Cleopatra's pool was closed and we didn't go to Saldo Lake, but the weather wasn't right for swimming, so it wasn't a big deal that this wasn't on the tour (the tour was known in advance). It was very cold in the morning and a tropical downpour in the evening. Believe me, that's enough in this composition! And you can also go for a swim in other places that are no less picturesque. But we had plenty of time to explore everything calmly and admire. We got into a wild traffic jam on the way back, so keep in mind that they won't be able to tell you the exact time of your return. We stood for half an hour or more just at the interchange to the city, but it was not critical for us.
Our advice: take warm clothes, hats, water and food for breakfast and spf cream. It's very cold in the morning, and the sun is hot on the spot. I had a shirt and my hands were already burned, I'm afraid to imagine what would happen to the rest of my body so high in the mountains under the sun. Everyone at the agency is talking about this, but don't ignore their advice!
Union pay failed to be paid for some reason, isbank's terminals all over Antalya broke down, and you can withdraw cash. Or pay via the SBP, which we did. The commission is high, but we didn't have that much cash with us. If you're going to walk like us, you'd better take the cash with you.
