Now I have grown up - the department store is being transformed into a shopping center with separate outlets. Therefore, the building has a long history, has always been important, well-maintained with excellent staff. And now there is a huge turnover of shops and sellers. The only reason it's a minus star is that you don't know if you'll find the same store in a month

On New Year's Eve, some of the shops were already closed (and on January 1, the store was closed altogether). You can pay with a Mir card. The prices are designed for tourists. The range is not too extensive.

A store from my childhood. Of course, now it has become completely different - new, modern. It is very good that the main thing is not lost - here, as before, you can buy everything! It is especially convenient for people with limited mobility. I was shopping with my mom, who can't walk for a long time. We bought shoes, cosmetics, and socks. Then we took the elevator (special thanks for it) to the third floor. There, among other things, there is a " Fabric" department. Mom was just happy, and I'm with her)))

I was in the stationery department of a department store. Guys, my eyes are running away! How many colors are there: both gouache and watercolor, and acrylic, etc.; pencils, of different quality and prices, colored and thick cardboard, of all colors, craft paper, all sorts of little things and decor for those whose hands are sharpened to make beauty! I hardly forced myself to buy only what was planned. He (the department) is now on the second floor. I also like their fabric department and the haberdashery on the third floor. And the children's clothing department is on the second floor, by the way, things are often cheaper there than in branded stores of the same name factories. I took a children's cotton T-shirt for 2.86 rubles. In short, a good store. It's a pity the parking there is almost always packed, only in the middle of the day and you can park.

My wife loves Belarusian things. I don't mind. But I will tell you the story of one purchase. My wife chose a sweater. The same one, but I couldn't decide on the size. The choice is made, we bring two to the cashier. We say that we take one, we ask where to put the other. Most of the sellers are standing and chatting. They discuss the need to wear masks and other news. We are used to the store having to sell. And the seller's task is to ensure that the buyer does not leave empty-handed. So, to our question, where to put the jacket that did not fit, they told us to take it and hang it where they took it. I grinned and did not want to spoil the mood for myself or my wife, the joy of buying. Then they came up to the cash register beautifully. One knocked out the price on the device, the second either with a question, or with the statement: "You don't need a package!" stuffed a jacket into polyethylene and pushed it. That's it, the work is over. Continued communication)) In fact, I could also punch through the cash register and put it in a bag myself)) Not proud! But you're being paid for something here... I wouldn't pay... We went out, discussed, and laughed. That's why state-owned shops and institutions are repelled: staff who want to live well, but do not want to do anything, a pension that sits there and does not move. It's disappointing that this is the central store in the city, and nothing has changed since the 90s. Only cosmetic repairs inside the building, and the staff were stuffed into uniforms. Well, the staff cannot be rebuilt to the modern level of trade and service. It seems that there is enough in the department store, there is everything you need. However, everything is not the same. For example, the men's clothing department. As in my childhood there were these rows with costumes, so they are there. And this feeling even the models have remained the same. At least they did some kind of rearrangement. I feel like I'm in a second-hand store, not in the central and, in fact, the main store of the city.
